  • Great location and lovely unique place to stay

"Great location with lots of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. The property was really interesting and well equipped. It's completely open plan so for us as a family of 5 was great but you do need to know each other well. We really loved the location and would highly recommend. Ambra was very efficient and helpful and nothing was too much trouble."

  • A small, calm and peaceful apartment with true spirit of Trastevere

"We didn't spend much time in the apartment because we were taking long walks around Rome, especially Trastevere, the most beautiful part of Rome, so we were very happy to find this apartment there :) When the bells of the church Santa Maria in Trastevere would wake me up in the morning reminding me that I'm in the most beautiful city in the world, I could hear the birds singing on the roof of the cafe that used to be a was very romantic :) not much people in the street, but still not far away from the places that tourists like to visit. Clean, wit a lot of light, decorated with taste and fully equipped. I would give you 5 stars if the entrance in the bathroom wasn't across the bedroom...why do you have to wake up the person sleeping in the bedroom just to go to the toilet at night...? Beside that, we enjoyed our stay in the apartment and would recommend it to other people."

  • Nice Main Floor + Lower Level Apartment in Trastevere

"This apartment was in the perfect location for us - within walking distance to the American University in Rome where my son is going to school. Also within walking distance to everything Trastevere plus many, many venues just across the river. 40-minute walk to the Vatican. There are two bedrooms on the lower level as well as a double bed in the larger hall space outside the master. When the bedroom doors are closed, it is pitch black, so be sure to bring an alarm clock. I slept until 10:00 a.m. which I haven't done in thirty years. The kitchen has a nice refrigerator, microwave, small oven. We didn't do any cooking, but we did use glassware and re-heated leftovers in the microwave. Who wants to cook on vacation? Especially when in Rome where food is delish! I have only a couple of criticisms, some minor, one more major. The sofa in living room sucks. It's uncomfortable and caves in the middle. It's a hide-a-bed, but it's seen better days. The sofa in the 2nd bedroom should be moved to the living room. The other seats in the living room are just tiny ottomans, so there's really no where to sit with friends and enjoy a glass of wine. We made do, but I would overhaul the living room making it more comfortable if it were up to me. The other little things were the bathroom doorknob that fell off immediately so we just put it on the bathroom counter and didn't shut the door; the cork screw in the kitchen (the only one) had no screw in it. It was one of those with the two arms - very common. But there was no screw part of it so we just tossed it and let the manager know. There is no lamp in the living room, so for lighting you get interrogation lights or darkness. A lamp would be nice. The shelf in the shower is mounted in the middle and tips like a teeter-totter - useless. I put a colander from the kitchen in the shower and put shampoo, rinse, and soap in it.The website said there is a washer, but it has been disconnected, so be advised that THERE IS NO WASHER. I think this apartment is very nice in most ways and the negatives were not deal-breakers. The only reason I might not stay here again is that the bathroom is on the main floor and the bedrooms are down, so climbing the stairs at 3:00 a.m. is your only choice if you need to use the loo."
