"The location of Wanderlust is literally THE BEST possible. Easy walking distance to pretty much every attraction in Rome, and the Trastevere neighborhood has tons of great food and amenities available within steps. The apartment itself is picturesque and wonderful, and the building is quite grand, just across the street from the gorgeous Tiber and alongside the popular Piazza Trilussa. Also, the From Home to Rome people were GREAT and very helpful! The only potential drawback is the noise level in the Piazza at night. Like... it is QUITE noisy and on the weekend, the partying goes until 4am. Like MARDI GRAS noisy, is what I'm saying. That being said: The windows in the bedrooms are double-glazed and so it is not too bad in the bedrooms, and I actually found I was not bothered at all once I fell asleep. (My sister was kept up one night because of a quite raucous fight happening outside, but I slept right through it! ;-) Anyway, if you are extremely sensitive to noise, maybe this is not the right place for you. But I did fine, and even my mother who is older and goes to bed early did not seem bothered."

  • Best location and wonderful stay

"Brando's apartment is wonderful. It is located minutes from numerous restaurants in Trastevere. It is also minutes from all the major sites. We took the bus to the Colosseum but then walked back and saw Trevi fountain, Pantheon, and then walked up to Gianicolo hill to watch the sunset which was spectacular. Brando gave us a restaurant recommendations for Il Miraggio and it was delicious. My husband cannot stop talking about the gnocchi he had there. The second night we ate at Dar Poeta which had delicious pizza. Brando was very accomodating and we loved his place. We would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disapointed."

  • Superb

"The apartment is in an excellent part of Rome, extremely spacious, comfortable and well laid out. Every day we walked from the apartment to various sites, Vatican, Galleria Borghese, Piramide, Terme Caracalla, Foro Romano, Palantino, Colosseo and so many others. Ostia Antica was a real site to see and easily accessed by train from Piramide - cost 3 Euro return. We found some lovely cafes, bars & restaurants. Surprised at the reasonable prices - if there's pictures of food, avoid! The apartment could do with: 1. A better hot water system. Each evening we had a bath and often the hot water ran out before it was at a reasonable level. 2. Second bathroom could do with cleaning, it's damp and smells. 3. Kitchen is poorly equiped if you really want to self-cater."

  • Superb

"Bon emplacement dans Rome. Literie bonne . Cour sympathique pour prendre l'air. Spacieux. Salle de bain agréable. Peu d équipement. Peu d'indication sur place un book avec quelques cartes et bonnes adresses serait le bienvenu. Appartement sombre car peu exposer à la lumière naturelle."
