  • I could live here forever, and love it. Our hostess Mrs Serafini is lovely, and Mrs Gabby so sweet.

"We love this apartment, which is efficient and homelike. The terrific dining and drinking choices all within easy walking distance was fun, and so many churches and piazzas made it beautiful. Some late night noise especially on weekend, so wear earplugs!"

  • Superb

"We liked the quality and size of the three bedrooms. We liked the roof terrace. We also liked the kitchen which was very suitable for a large family, spacious with a large dinner table. Patricia who met us at the arrival was extremely helpful, and gave us an excellent introduction to the area , what to see and experience in Trastevere There are very few lamps, and none in the entrance room which also serves as a living room or television room. There are no lamps by the beds."

  • Nice Quiet Apartment

"Mi scusate, ma e meglio se scrivo in inglese. My wife and I planned a 9-day trip to Rome intentionally planning to not travel to other cities. So, it made sense to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel. This apartment on Viale di Trastevere was just what we were looking for. It was off the beaten path, and as so, was quiet and non-touristy - unlike Trastevere itself. The surrounding area had easy access to public transportation, a "supermercato", bars and a Tabacchai - everything you would need to "set up camp" for a while. The apartment had two bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, and a really nice patio. And though we didn't actually use the patio because of the mosquitoes, with the shudders open, the garden gave us a nice view and plenty of light, which was important because it's on the ground floor. The owners/managers of the apartment were totally accessible and in touch with us throughout the week - even so nice as to give us recommendations for places to eat and how best to get into the center of town. My wife and I would stay here again, without a doubt. If you are looking for an inexpensive option, outside the noise and chaos of the touristy parts of Rome, I would highly recommend this apartment."

  • Fantastic apartment in hip neighborhood

"This was one of my best rental experiences ever. We felt extremely lucky that we got connected to Commendable Rentals through our internet search. The apartment exceeded our expectations in size and location. It was perfectly set up for two or more people because it was on two levels. The owner was waiting to let us in and show us around. The main floor layout was great, with a balcony, dining area and generous sized living room. Once we rented the apartment online, we had the added bonus of working with Commendable Rentals. They sent us all sorts of great advice, arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport and even made dinner reservations. Adriana in Rome and Susan in the head office could not have been more helpful when I left our passports in the apartment and didn't realize it until I got to Venice. They took care of everything, even though it was New Year's Day. I will certainly recommend this property to my friends and I will be using Commendable Rentals for future trips. I have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and have never been treated with so much consideration and professionalism by a property manager."
