  • Perfect Place to Stay in Rome!!!

"Loved Mary's place in Trastevere!!! The location was great, the beds were comfortable and the apartment over all was perfect. Loved waking up in the mornings and looking out the window to the street below. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The Piazza right around the corner from us was a lot of fun! Great night life and we felt very comfortable and safe. If I return to Rome I definitely will be getting a hold of Mary and would love to stay in her place again!!"

  • Perfect location, comfortable space

"Three friends and I spent 4 nights at Patrizia's property and absolutely loved it. The apartment could not be in a better location. We were within a 5 minute walk of Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori, a 15 minute walk of the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, and about a 20 minute stroll to the Colosseum/Forum, the Vatican, and the Spanish steps. Basically we could cover the entire city on foot. This isn't even mentioning that the street the apartment is located on is full of restaurants and shops. Be sure to stop across the street (just steps away) at Mimi e Coco for food or just for a drink and down the road at the Frigidarium, an amazing gelato place that always has a line but is worth the wait (also the cheapest gelato we had the entire trip). The apartment itself is lovely, just as pictured. It is located on the ground floor (after lugging our bags up 6 floors in Florence, we were very happy about this). On the main floor is a small living room with a table and 4 chairs as well as a small, but functional, kitchen. Upstairs is a nice big bathroom and two bedrooms (1 queen and 2 single beds). There are also 3 couches: one in the living room, one upstairs on the landing, and another in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has windows facing the main street but they have double sets of windows (like a window behind a window behind shutters) and block out any street noise. You can tell that Patrizia has been doing this for a while. She answered all of our questions, before we could even ask them, as she showed us around the place. She provides towels/linens/other essentials as well as a hairdryer, umbrellas, maps, travel books, a flashlight, extra outlet adapters, etc. So many little things that just add up to a job well done. She also has a great website that you should check out if only for her (many great) restaurant recommendations. I absolutely recommend this property. It's perfect for families, two couples, or a few good friends like in my situation."

  • Very nicely equipped, Great amenities, So Peaceful!

"We had a great time at Casalfattoria. It had plenty of beds and places to crash after walking around Rome all day. I appreciated the bathtub to use for the kids. Everything was pretty clean and ready for us when we got there. I would recommend that the owner do a deep cleaning though as I noticed dirt around the sinks and light switches and toilet buttons. Everything else was very tidy. We only had a couple of questions/issues and they were dealt with very quickly. We didn't realize that it is on the second floor and there is another flight of stairs inside too. This made it a little difficult for Grandma, but we made it. No railing on the inside stairs was a bit concerning for the little one, but he never fell so yeah. The showers were very, very small for us Americans. A shelf in the shower would have been very helpful so that you don't have to keep picking up your soap off the floor. But we made do. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and utensils. My father-in-law was very happy you had a normal coffee pot, not just an italian one. :D Thank you for the groceries too. The grounds and surrounding were so peaceful and quiet. I wish we could have enjoyed them more. The kids liked playing on the playground. I would definitely recommend this apartment for larger groups, especially if you have kids. We didn't really check out any restaurants close by. We always ate in Rome. We loved all the poppies growing along the lane to the compound."
