  • Hidden Gem of Cinque Terra

"This rental was beyond our expectations from the moment we got off at the train in Monterosso. We were met and walked to the rental, which was helpful for finding it the first time. While parking is provided, we didn't have a vehicle. The apartment was a short and easy walk from the train station (less than 10 minutes.) We found Monterosso to be a quieter spot than the other cities of Cinque Terra. It wasn't terribly touristy. The apartment is very close to the public beach (beach towels were provided in the apartment) or any number of private beaches were you could rent chairs and umbrellas. We enjoyed swimming everyday. The terrace had fantastic views and was the perfect spot for wine in the evenings. During the day, we appreciated the retractable sun shade. We were traveling with another couple and the apartment offered nice privacy for both with it having two floors. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, though there were so many great restaurants we didn't cook much. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for an entire week."

  • Easily accessed and comfortable apartment!

"We stayed 5 days at this excellent apartment, located in the old town, up a gentle slope. The apartment is 35 easy stairs up, with all that you will need: towels, soap, cooking equipment, balcony, table that seats 6 and more. The bed is very comfortable. Our hosts met us with smiles, helped carry our luggage and oriented us to the unit. I loved having the bank and post office across the street, a small convenience store steps away, and a FRESH pasta store (with sauces) very near. So easy! Thank you Augusta and sons!"

  • Great place to stay in the Cinque Terra

"Great place to stay. Easy walk to the public beach for a swim. Great restaurants a walk away. Hidden back in a neighborhood, your hear the train but it's not bad. We had trouble with the hot water but it mostly worked. Sleeping was good for 4 people but uncomfortable for the other 2. We were 6 persons. I would stay there again, it's hard with six people. Not a lot to choose from."
