  • perfect place to land after a day of hiking

"Very satisfied with our little studio in Vernazza. Check in was easy and our host pointed out trailheads and tasty gelato as we weaved through town enabling us to become quickly situated with this charming location. We stayed in October and found the apartment to be quiet while sleeping. Although it's a studio, we did not feel cramped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is efficient and the bathroom was nice and clean. The shower is small but adequate and we felt this was a great apartment to land in after a long day hiking through the countryside."

  • A fine view

"A wonderful view of the beautiful sea (which is 15min walk down the steps) and Manarola, both from the small balcony and lying on the double bed. I'm not that particular about showers but my wife is, and this one has to be experienced to be appreciated. The whole apartment is super clean and supplied with clean sheets and towels; the beds comfortable. The other thing that is very agreeable about the apartment is that it is cool even when it is roasting outside. Corniglia village is a short walk up the road (and down steep steps to reach the porticiolo, from where it possible to swim to other rocks round the corner and the beach of Guvano). The coastal path to Manarola is not currently passable but there is a more interesting, if strenuous, path that leaves from Corniglia village passing via Volastra. We did it with my 79-year-old father, which triggered warnings from his fitbit as it was equivalent to about 90 flights of stairs; and then two of us swam back to Corniglia (my dad took the train). The space is ideal for 2 people; 2 x 2 as we were is also fine but not spacious enough for everyone to spend long periods indoors, which we didn't have to do because the weather was perfect for us. Cinque Terre villages are heaving in the summer but, because of its position, Corniglia is much less so, though still quite crowded for its size (on the up side this has produced more than one good gelateria)."

Familie F-B Stuttgart"

  • Rooms in Vernazza

"I was part of a party of 7 that rented all three rooms from Pablo and Julia. We were pleased that they were able to put a roll-away in one of the rooms for us. This allowed us to be comfortable with the bed arrangements. As part of the stay we were served breakfast daily. We had many choices and it was great way to start each morning. Two of the rooms, 1and 2, have been remodeled with wonderful new spacious bathrooms. The third room, number 3, has not, which caused an issue with the bathroom. It has a tub-shower but it is very precarious and felt unsafe as there were no hand bars. The toilet had no lid and the septic smell permeated the room at times. The owners are aware of the problem and hopefully this will be their next project. The apartments are located in the heart of the town and made it so easy to get out and see everything there was to see. The train station is at the end of the street and affords easy access to the other towns in Cinque Terra. The Internet issues were not yet resolved but we were given a modem for our room, but it had to be taken from room to room for access. I would give rooms 1 and 2 a good rating and room 3 average. We loved our stay in Vernazza and plan to visit again."
