  • Serene Como retreat

"This contemporary suite was a calm retreat after a long days of travel and touring. Alessandra, the owner, was very helpful before, during and after our stay in answering emails promptly and thoroughly, in printing out ferry and train schedules in advance of our arrival, by looking out for and then welcoming us from our transfer and following up with support to our question about a misplaced item. The suite is brightly lit, spacious and decorated with minimalist charm. It is well located, just across from the cute Como Borghi local train station, within steps of Cardomon, the artisanal restaurant owned by Alessandra and her husband and inside a fifteen minute walk to the lake where ferries quickly ( or slowly if one chooses! ) take passengers to nearby attractions including Villa Elba and romantic towns like Bellagio. We would certainly recommend a stay at this property!"

  • A Lakeside Charmer With Fabulous Lake Views of Lake Como!

"Villa Lina is a bright, airy, cheery space -- the perfect lakeside getaway. The views of Lake Como from the expansive windows and petite balcony were fantastic. The apartment is the second floor of a villa with windows on three sides for those magical views and fresh breezes. The furnishings are comfortable with a modern vibe. The bedroom is small but you will spend most of your time in the living area gazing out at the ever changing views of Lake Como. We couldn't help but think that Villa Lina would also be a perfect getaway for a solo traveler or one seeking a creative retreat. It was romantic and cozy for two travelers and there is a pull-out sofa for an additional traveler if needed. Finding Villa Lena, located in Lezzeno, was easy and parking was plentiful. We were warmly greeted and the hosts left a welcome basket with pasta, sauce, crackers and chocolates and water for our first evening. The pasta dinner was very helpful since there were no markets open in the area for two days. Our advice would be to pick up supplies in Como or Bellagio, before your arrival at Villa Lina, if you plan to arrive on a Sunday or a local holiday. The kitchen is small but well-appointed with all the utensils, appliances and condiments we could use. There are several restaurants within a short drive. Our stay at Villa Lina was more than we could have hoped. We hope to return to Lake Como and Villa Lina in the near future. Best regards, Heather & Scott"

  • beautiful outdoor spaces!

"Pretty basic inside, but clean...gorgeous view, nice outside garden area and nice community pool on site. Was told it was a 10 min walk uphill from train station...more like 25 mins along streets that do not have a shoulder in many areas."
