  • Fabulous family holiday in Villa Vista

"Villa Vista was everything and more than we expected for our 2016 family holiday. A beautifully decorated, rustic villa with the most AMAZING view day and night! The facilities were excellent, everything worked and the owners hospitality was much appreciated. The shared pool had a dedicated lifeguard which we were very impressed with. Having a car is a must if you want to explore the local towns to eat out in the evenings and beaches for fun in the day, but equally a night in with a glass of wine and good friends was just as pleasant in such a beautiful location. We will be back one day for sure."

  • Great apartment in a stunning location

"A lovely bright, clean and modern apartment within walking distance to the lovely village of Porto Rotondo. Myself and husband have just returned from a brilliant 2 week stay at the apartment with our 2 teenage children (16 and 13). Throughout the booking process the communication with owners Peter & Annamaria was great - no issues at all. We were sent thorough directions to the property and a number to call to contact their local correspondent who would take us to the property. A small hitch to start off the holiday when the correspondent was running late so we waited around 30mins to get the keys. As mentioned in a previous review on the property the local correspondent also speaks no English which makes the show around tricky! The property itself is a good size for 4 with 2 double rooms and a single. Lots of sheets and bedding provided along with air con in every room. Wi fi is provided but its a dongle and we struggled to use it at all throughout our stay which was disappointing. One other small criticism was the main double bed is extremely hard so myself and my husband weren't particularly comfortable at night. That said it didn't take away from our stay - we spent most of our days visiting the local beaches - we hired a car and chose to mainly visit Marinella beach which is a 5 min drive away. Beaches were all pretty busy during our stay but obviously that's to be expected during the summer season. We also used the shared pool most days which is a good size, clean and pretty quiet - on most days we had the pool to ourselves. Only down side was that the pool is shut between 1.30pm and 3pm- something we only found out when one of the locals shouted at us as the signs were all in Italian!! The restaurants on the Porto Rotondo marina are all lovely and specialise obviously in Seafood but also cater for kids with pizzas available in all of them. The marina was quiet when compared to similar locations for example Villamoura in Portugal and other than restaurants and a couple of bars there isn't a lot going on - not a bad thing at all just something to be aware of if considering taking teenagers! All in all a great property in a great location but maybe better with small kids rather than teenagers particularly with the very quiet location and poor wifi."

  • Home sweet home

Merci. Frédéric."
