  • A luxurious house, fantastic garden and pool, spectacular views and perfect location

"Davide and his family have created the perfect holiday home. This was the best villa we've ever stayed in after 30 years of renting in France and Italy. It's close to such marvellous Tuscan towns and villages with great art nearby. Most importantly, Davide and his family ensured that we experienced the very best of Tuscan life - fresh olive oil, vegetables and fruit from their garden, marvellous home made pasta, gnocchi and wood fired pizzas made by Davide's mother and sister, wonderful Florentine steaks and the best sausages ever (Davide's father is a local butcher). And on top of all this, Davide introduced us to amazing wine from local and very high quality wineries. We were looked after by a caring thoughtful family who checked out our needs and respected our privacy. As a large group of family and friends we had the best holiday ever in this spacious and beautifully restored historic home, which combines comfort and authenticity with plenty of high spec bathrooms and a huge garden and pool. We will definitely come back here."

  • Wonderful Villa

"Mulino a Vento sits above Cortona with a magnificent vista over the val di chiana. The ancient house has been restored and equiped to comfortably house 3 couples. The pool is extra nice . Walk into town is doable, especially going down into town, and provides some exercise coming back. The owners and their son Luigi are very helpful. One of our party became ill and they arranged to have a doctor come to the house on short notice. Luigi accompanied me to the pharmacy to get prescription drug. This is a special place."

  • Great stay in Cortona

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Zeni. Perfect location close to entrance from car park, and close to stroll into the main area of Cortona. The unit appeared to be freshly renovated and was very charming inside. I would recommend this for 2-3 people (small pull out couch). There is a washer/dryer for convenience and our stay offered free cafe/croissant at the local bar. Tips: 1. There is a pay parking lot just outside the closest entrance, check with owner on name to GPS directly to it. By that pay lot there is free parking on the outer wall if you can find it (opens up after 5pm). If you drive down the road next to this pay parking there are plenty of free spots (inside white lines). 2. If you are offered free cafe/croissant tickets at local bar, it is in town a short walk from unit - look for address. Enjoy your time, many great restaurants and the Cortona Brewery off the main square (tell Masimo Judi/Dave from Tennesse sent you)! You will enjoy your time in Casa Zeni"
