  • "Beautiful and peaceful - real Tuscan feel place"

"If you love tranquility and history – this is the place for you. The farm is located in true Tuscanian country side surrounded by olive trees and vineyards and consists of 5 apartments that have been created following conservative restoration work in an old mill whose most ancient parts date back to medieval times. We Stayed in the apartment “ LA CASETTA “ in September 2016. It was two bedroom, two baths apartment with kitchen/dinning area, living room with open fireplace and terrace with view over the vineyards and the property. The apartment was very comfortable and had old Tuscan charm. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the terrace, especially that the only sound we can hear was the singing birds. Claudia, the property manager, was very helpful and gave us also sample of Molino’s olive oil and grapes. Molino le Gualchiere producese olive oil, grapes, fruits and vegies and partners with a local organisation which cares for partially disabled young people, mainly affected by Down's Syndrome. This venture allow these young people to help in the daily work of the farm and we were very glad to learn that our rental fee will support that organization. The farm is located only 5 minutes drive from the town Loro Ciuffenna – very old village with shops, cafes, very good bakery and meat/cheese and fresh pasta shop. There is also a few good restaurants and pizza places there. The central location to Florence, Sienna and Pienza gave us opportunity to visit those beautiful Tuscan towns. Overall we had really, really good time in Molino le Gualchiere and we highly recommend this place especially if you want to learn more about Tuscan culture and history in picture perfect setting away from crowds. The only regret we have that we spent only one week there !"
