  • Sunny Santo Spirito

"The apartment was inviting and renovated in a style that retained the historical feel of the building while offering contemporary spaces to enjoy. I loved the large windows to open for the afternoon breeze and the sound of church bells. The Santo Spirito square was a fun place to have morning coffee and watch the market set up or relax in the evening with dinner and the sound of musicians and children playing in the fountain. It was a great neighborhood to explore and so easy to walk to all the places we wanted to see. The four flights of stairs can be a bit tiring but was worth the exercise!"

  • Nice Location

"The apartment was clean and well set up for doing cooking, washing, etc. Mery was a delight, warm and caring. The apartment currently has work being done on the outside, so when you look out the window, all you see is tarps and scaffolding. It was the only downside about the apartment. The bed is very comfortable. It is very conveniently located and an easy walk from the train station. Makes a great base. I would recommend you ask about the outside work before booking unless no view works for you. I would book here again."

  • Thoroughly enjoyable stay in lovely apartment with grand piano in Oltrarno near Pitti Palace

"This apartment was exactly as advertised and a great bang for the buck. Spacious and clean, it was within easy walking distance to any number of major and important historical locations in Florence: the Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio, The Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, etc. It is also a fifteen minute walk to the city's main Santa Maria Novella train station. We were able to walk everywhere to enjoy, experience and appreciate the history which is Florence. The apartment is also close to any number of excellent restaurants and a wide variety of shopping, including an excellent and large open air market just over the Ponte Vecchio. Being so close to the train station allowed us to conveniently make several day trips to places such as Lucca, Pisa and Cinque Terre. There is a fully stocked grocery store a three minutes walk from the apartment which was very handy. The owner George was very accommodating and easy to get hold of and answered any questions we had about where to find things in the vicinity of the apartment. The apartment's air conditioning was quiet and quickly cooled things down, which was much appreciated in the 33 degree heat. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone visiting Florence and would definitely stay here again; it truly felt like a home away from home. 5 stars all the way round!"

It is located in a very beautiful area with a park you can walk through everyday to start your journey to downtown Florence. The neighbors were very nice and the neighborhood was very authentic.
