  • Beautifully kept apartment, light and airy and immaculately clean. Wonderful views of the sea.

"Marzamemi is a very pretty, little seaside town with a lovely main square. Plenty of places to eat & drink and not too expensive - we were on a tight budget! There are several shops & a chemist for essential supplies and a van delivers fruit & veg daily. The town has a broad sandy beach with a wide area of shallow rock pools which the apartment overlooks - good for swimming & snorkelling. It was a good base from which to explore the surrounding area which offered lovely old baroque towns, mountainous scenery and Greek, Roman & early Christian archaeological sites to explore but for this you definitely need a car. The apartment looks out to sea & was beautifully clean, with a dazzling blue & white colour scheme! We had a very active 2 weeks and were sorry to leave - we would definitely come again because there were still many places we didn't manage to fit in!"

  • Nicely appointed studio in good location

"The purple suite is a nicely appointed studio apartment located in a bustling neighborhood close to many Florence attractions such as the beautiful Duomo and the Medici chapels. It is also in walking distance of the train station which was very handy for our travels. There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and shops nearby. The building is charming and old, with many steps to the apartment on the second floor. One thing to note is that this is a studio -- one big room separated by an attractive purple divider. There is a king sized bed behind the divider and a pull out couch in the main living space that also holds a kitchen wall and glass table for seating. We were a party of five so an additional cot was supplied. There is one bathroom which is quite modern and clean with good water pressure and heat. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and Mariangela is responsive to emails. I think this apartment is ideal for a couple or a family with one or possibly two young children."

  • We had problems checking in ...

"We had problems checking in because none of the telephone numbers we were given worked. Even out taxi driver tried the numbers on his cell phone and he confirmed they were out of service. Also we had no wireless internet. The rep offered us a dongle which didn't fit our devices. After being informed to bring a credit card to make final payment we couldn't because we had no internet and were made to pay cash for which we didn't get an official receipt. All in all decent accommodation with appalling service."
