  • Superb

"The location was very convenient to the train station, markets, and attractions. Everything was within a short walk. The apartment itself was well equipped including a small kitchen with everything needed to use it. It was a great place to relax over breakfast coffee or after a day out walking the sights. Barbara was very helpful in providing information and making sure our stay was comfortable. First impressions are not good. The location looks a little rough and the entry to the building was musty. Both proved to be unimportant as the apartment was fine and secure. The only real complaint would be the bed as the mattress was not very good, at least by our preferences."

  • Fantastic apartment in a great location, very clean and well appointed

"This was the perfect apartment in Florence! We were beyond delighted with the location of the apartment and the space itself. In the charming living room you can relax after a city tour while enjoying a glass of wine, the two bathrooms were functional and clean.Location is central to everything, easily walkable to Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, and lots of great shopping. Gaia was very easy to deal with and Stefano was really helpful, I would definitely stay here again when returning to Florence!"

  • The very best place to stay in Florence!

"Do not hesitate to come and stay at 3 Lilies with Fernanda! The rooms are clean and well prepared, the shared bathroom extremely clean, while the kitchen provides a wonderful common area to sit and chat. We traveled for 10 days through Italy, and although all the places we stayed at were very nice, we felt Fernanda was the most helpful and gracious host, particularly given all the help she provided on logistics in getting to and fro around Florence, and to the airport. The free breakfast across the street, and discount at the restaurant around the corner was also very nice. A great value and a charming and authentic Florentine hostess! Thank you Fernanda!"

  • Studying Italian in Florence

"This was my first time renting an apartment on VRBO. Normally I stay at a hotel wherever I am on holidays. This time around, my daughter and I decided to study Italian in Florence and required something for one month. The apartment belongs to Cynthia and her husband Roberto. Italy Perfect is the company that the owners use to manage the rentals. Italy Perfect made the rental process incredibly simple. They send you forms (electronically) to fill out that includes your arrival time and contact information. When we arrived into Florence, we called the prearranged phone number and were happily greeted by the owner. We took a cab from the Airport and was met at the front door. Cynthia helped us manage the small Italian style elevator to the fourth floor, quickly showed us around, and answered all our questions about the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood west of the American embassy. It is a 15 minute walk to the center of Florence where all the tourists hang out; which means, if you want to be in the middle of things, this may not be for you. West of us one block away is a large green area called the Parco delle Casine. It's a safe park with lots of runners, walkers, cyclists and families. The apartment has a fully utilized kitchen equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and the works. It even comes with a Braun coffee maker so bring coffee with you. It has a North American size fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher. The bedrooms are large, one with two single beds and the other with a queen bed. The master bedroom has its own bathroom, while the other bedroom has its bathroom across the hall. Full showers with plenty of water pressure and hot water. All the bedroom windows are screened to keep out pesky mosquitoes. The beauty of being just outside the core is that it is quiet at night when sleeping. The apartment has a family room with a TV (Italian only), two sofas and a large table to study or watch Netflix. Yes, they have Wi-Fi that actually works remarkably well. There is a grocery store nearby, a bar (coffee shop) across the street and several restaurants a short walk away. We had the apartment cleaned once a week, where bed sheets were changed and towels replaced. All arraigned by Italy Perfect. This location worked well for the two of us and could easily accommodate four people. I plan on going back to Florence soon, and will rent this apartment again."
