  • Gorgeous apartment - highly recommend

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the apartment. It is very comfortable, decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for a great experience. Walking distance to all Florence attractions, great restaurants and supermarket. Would definitely return to this property next time we are in Florence. The owner was very responsive and great to work with on the reservation, check-in and answering questions. You will enjoy your stay here!"

  • Very comfortable, clean and well maintained.

"This apartment was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Very close to Santa Croce, easy walk to Duomo, Uffizi, Palazzo Vechio. Kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation. Bedrooms were comfortable, and two bathrooms was wonderful. Markets were nearby, along with many places to eat. The apartment was very nice, but the entrance is very plain. Hosts were very kind and welcoming, gladly helped with arranging taxis for transportation to the train station. Pleasant stay."

  • GerryY

"The property was charming and refreshingly different from hotels. Equally charming is Stefania and her cooking school. I have had success with her recipes and requests for them. The hilltop location permits walking through vineyards, forests and it is beside a small village with restaurants and cafes. We rented a car, touring the area and nearby Greve."

  • Beautiful tuscan home with friendly, helpful owner

"Guido and his family are incredibly good hosts who obviously love what they do. They were very easy to deal with, and the apartment was spotless. We arrived late(ish) on Saturday evening and Guido advised us to shop before we arrived to make sure we had provisions - even telling us where to find a convenient supermarket. Mansarda is dark, being at the top of the building, but since most of our time was spent outside either by the pool, sightseeing or on the roof terrace this really didn't matter. The rooms are very comfortable, though be warned - the two single rooms have very low ceilings. Castello Di Pastine is easy to find by following Guido's instructions; it's set in very tranquil surroundings and both Florence and Siena are an easy 30-40 minute drive away. San Gimignano is well worth a visit (arrive early to get a parking place!) and of course the pool onsite is a great place to while away the time. A great place to stay, with very helpful hosts."
