  • Lovely place with an outstanding view and AC for the hot summer months.

"Our family loved Florence, and enjoyed the lovely apartment with a view. We were visiting during July 2017 and it was 97 degrees and humid. We are so thankful for the wonderful AC that kept things comfortable during our stay. We had plenty of room for the four us, which included our teenagers, 15 and 17 years old. You are in walking distance to most things, and the bus station is just a few minutes down the road. The neighborhood surrounding the apartment isn't anything to write home about, however within a few blocks its amazing how its changes into an area with more upscale shops, etc. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Florence. Everything went smoothly from checking in and checking out. Instructions for the apartment and how to work the washing machine to where to find a local bakery are all available to make your stay easier."

  • An amazing visit to Florence!

"My family of 4 rented Lena's apartment near Piazza Santa Croce for 6 days in late April. We were so very pleased with the spaciousness and cleanliness of this well located home. The apartment had everything we needed and Lena was so thoughtful and kind. Even before we booked our stay, she was so attentive in responding to all our questions. It was like having a loving sister willing to take care of your every need. We especially liked the Bialetti espresso pots, the comfortable beds, and the view from the front windows into the square where the beautiful Santa Croce Church resides. There was a very convenient Cafe right at the corner, a fabulous restaurant right across the street, the best gelato just around the corner, a bank machine just one block away and loads of other shops and restaurants within a block or two. And then of course the amazing historical features of Florence, like the Ufizzi, the Arno, the Ponte Vechio all the Piazzas and the Duomo where all within walking distance. Staying here made us feel like we were truly a part of the Florentine culture that this wonderful city has to offer. I highly recommend Lena and her lovely apartment and hope someday to return there myself. Thank you Lena for making our family vacation one that we will never forget! • A Very Good Choice - In The Hills Above Florence

"My friends and I stayed here for 5 nights and could not have been happier with Andrea and the property. Andrea was very helpful in all aspects. The location is perfect for visiting Florence and the surrounding area. Andrea suggested we take the 15 minute train ride into the central Florence train station instead of driving our rental car, and it was a very good idea. We parked for free at the Caldine / Fiesole station and for 1.50 euros took the train directly into downtown Florence. The property is very secluded and quiet, the directions to the farm house very detailed. Just keep following them and you will eventually find the place. I wouldn't suggest trying to find it in the dark the first time though. There is a co-op in Caldine, maybe 5 minutes from the property where you can find all you need to make your own fabulous pasta dinners. The kitchen was well furnished, as was the rest of the house. The wifi was fast and always available."
