  • Great Bed and Breakfast

"Rosanna and Guiseppe were fantastic hosts at their Bed and Breakfast. The old farm house is comprised of several condos some that are occupied by full time residents . The rooms in the B&B section were newly renovated and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful and the owners went the extra mile to make our stay easy and comfortable. In addition to breakfast we were also offered freshly prepared dinners. The owners surprised us with a special treat on our final night by taking us to a special dinner at a local butcher. The culinary experience at the butcher was amazing. If you are looking for a B&B close to Florence and the Chianti region Rosanna and Guiseppe provide a great venue!"

  • Lovely modern apartment

"We were greeted warmly by Tommy and Gianna at this modern and well-designed studio apartment. It is just as it appears in the pictures. Clean and very comfortable, and well designed with tons of storage space and more amenities than any of the other rentals we stayed at during our 2 week European tour. How convenient to have a dishwasher and a washing machine! It's about a 15 minute bus ride from SMN train station and about a 12 minute walk to campo di marte station. The neighbourhood is lovely with shops and some nice restaurants that we took advantage of, and despite being at street level, noise was not a problem at night. The owners left a full binder with every sort of information one would need in it - in multiple languages! They really seem to care about the comfort and experience of their guests. A lovely home base for exploring Florence. Thanks again Tommy and Gianna!"

  • Lovely pied-a-terre in a magical city

"I loved my time at this apartment. Solare is very close to the Accademia, the Duomo, and the Mercato Centrale. The 66 stairs were not a problem. The building has lots of character and the apartment is well-furnished. My greeter/owner was especially nice and explained everything to me very well. I found the bed comfortable and the living areas relaxing. The kitchen is very nice and has most everything to cook with. I appreciated the basket of goodies! Since Florence is a walking city, I found the location ideal to walk anywhere--even out to the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens. I always stay at Italy Perfect apartments where possible. They have been consistently wonderful for many trips!"

  • Such a lovely place

"We are a Canadian family of 5 (kids are 12, 9, 7) and we've been travelling through Europe for nearly 2 months. We made a last minute decision to visit Tuscany and we booked at Alba's without doing too much research. We feel like we really hit the jackpot. The apartment was huge - 2 big bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely living/dining area. Lots of hot water, spotlessly clean and lovingly decorated. I spent the first 1/2 hour taking photos of the rooms and the grounds to send home! Alba was very responsive and helpful, giving us lots of tips about nearby towns, restaurants and child-friendly things to do. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong and having some space to run around. I found that the distance to Florence was fine and would stay there again (or recommend) without hesitation. And the wifi was consistently strong and the nights were blessedly quiet. And don't get me started about the glorious views.... Thanks, Alba. Wonderful experience."
