  • Charming property and owners

"We were only able to stay two night here but loved every minute of it. Beatrice and her husband were so helpful in getting us settled and answering any questions or providing suggestions for restaurants, etc. The house is charming and furnished with everything needed. The location surrounded by vineyards was perfect, and convenient to exploring Tuscany. Highly recommended!"

  • Outstanding hospitality

"My wife and I took my parents on a trip to Tuscany and couldn't have asked for a better base for day trips and excursions. Il Torriano was perfectly situated for our flight into Pisa (1h30min) and our excursions to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terre. The house and grounds are a 10 minute walk to nearby Monte Firidolfi where there is a restaurant and a 5-10 minute drive to a couple of larger towns with supermarkets (not open on Sundays!) The grounds were perfectly maintained and the unit we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious for the self catering holiday we wanted. The pool is clean and excellent for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and driving (remember to get a swimcap somewhere!). We used the barbecue facility 3/7 nights and the grounds keeper very kindly supplied us with offcuts from the vineyard. Patrizia was the best host I have come across for a while. She greeted us with a big smile and provided very interesting local insights into the bi-annual Palio, history of Il Torriano and introduced us to the very passionate winemaker at La Sala. The grapes growing on Il Torriano is of the best in the region and is used in the wine production at La Sala. Needless to say we bought loads of wine after the excellent wine tasting experience which was accompanied by local bread and extraordinary tasting olive oil (also produced by Patrizia's family). Our stay there was great value and we would definitely go back, especially after tasting Patrizia's homemade ice cream."

  • Beautiful Villa!!!

"We were on a family holiday in Tuscany with our parents and four kids We booked this property for our dad's 60th birthday in October and from the moment we contacted Beatrice we knew it was a special place to stay. The property is gorgeous, this villa is immersed in the Tuscan countryside, nice hills surrounding, it is in a very good location with Florence about 20minutes away, and from there you easily reach other beautiful Tuscan towns The accommodation met all our expectations. It was spacious and bright with a lot of room for our large company. The view from the the large front terrace and the bedrooms was spectacular What can I say about Beatrice? She is great host and always available, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay She helped to organize everything we required, the wine tasting at Antinori vineyard, a cooking class and two delicious meals…don’t miss it!!! If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday in wonderfully beautiful surroundings and close to Florence, this is the right place. We look forward to come back."
