  • A Tuscan Treat

"We have returned from a two week stay in La Coppaia (4 bed Apartment), Fattoria Camigliano. It is a beautiful converted farmhouse which sits in the middle of a vineyard. The views are amazing as is the old fashioned rustic feel of the place. The house sits on the edge of a town so there are a few amenities close at hand. A car is a must and it is a good base to visit lots of places in Tuscany. There are stairs so it would not be accessible for disabled guests. The two apartments share a pool area which is really lovely. We found the place very clean and well equipped. Elisa; our host was a delight, She rescued us when we got lost (suggest you put "Sant' Andrea in Caprile" in your sat nav), gave us very helpful tourist info suggestions and dealt with any requirements/ requests swiftly. She was very kind and "went the extra mile"! Check in with Cipriano who will be happy to tell you how their organic wine is made and let you try some. It's very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this and La Cantina the adjoining 8 bed apartment. The Hankinson family Scotland UK"

  • Relaxing stay

"We greatly enjoyed our time at this lovely farmhouse. Paola and David greeted up upon our arrival and provided some welcome treats in our apartment. The property was lovely. I enjoyed looking at the flowers and soaking up some quite time. (I found travelling in Italy to be a bit overwhelming with the so many tourists in the cities. You will not find this to be an issue here!) Thank you for your hospitality!"

  • Lovely House, Great Location, Wonderful Hosts!

"We arrived to a warm welcome from Pietro and Annunciata, truly lovely people!! The house is charming, comfortable and well maintained. Our hosts were very helpful and so good natured, even though they had little english and we had little Italian, we got on famously! They wasted no time showing us where everything was and how it worked, so we were at home from the get-go! They did their best to answer our questions and help with suggestions of restaurants, vineyards, beaches etc. Great location for touring the area (as mentioned in previous reviews). We would google our questions and translate them into Italian and for the most part, they could make us understand their answers. If not, they have a friend who could speak english and would help but we never used that option. We had a vehicle, so we have no idea about public transport. All appliances worked well and the house was very clean. One little thing was that the wifi did really only work in the front of the house (as we are not fanatical about being on the internet, it wasn't a big deal to us). Pietro immediately showed us the wine (his own!) that he had stocked for us and another night he and Annunciata dropped by with lovely Campari drinks, freshly picked (HUGE) olives and homemade bread - it was heavenly. They were so proud to show us the Canadian Flag flying with the Italian, in the yard! Such a thoughtful touch! I would recommend a stay with these two italian live-wires to anyone!! We talked and laughed so much while we stayed with them, we shall never forget them! Grazie, Grazie Grazie Pietro e Annunciata !"
