  • Lovely apartment with terrace in central Lucca location

"We were very pleased with our stay at the Diamante apartment. The flat contained everything that we needed for a stay of nine days. For us, Lucca is a walking city and the Diamante is ideally located just off Corso Garibaldi. There is so much going on in Lucca that it is hard to keep up. For example, a few weeks before we arrived they opened a new (and excellent) restaurant just a couple of blocks away. There are many other good places to eat in the neighborhood and for groceries there is a new grocery store selling home made Lasagne and the famous Tordelli just around the corner. We discovered that the daughter of a famous Italian singer lives in the same building, right below the Diamante. We loved our stay at this apartment, Mrs Sonia made everything easy from start. Any question was quickly attended to. We will be back"

  • THE best in Lucca

"We had a wonderful time at Bruno and Iliria's apartment overlooking the Anfiteatro. The apartment is very comfortable with all of the amenities that we could have hoped for. The small touches were the ones most appreciated; coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar and especially the umbrellas! This was the 4th stop on our Italian holiday – and although the other apartments were also very good, none provided those “little extras”. It’s the little things that count the most when you're far away from home. We found Lucca ideal for our day trips to Pisa and the Cinque Terre, and the city itself is captivating in many ways. We could easily have stayed within 100 meters of the walls of the Anfiteatro, everything we needed was close by. Wonderful restaurants (especially L’Angolo Tondo) fantastic gelato, good shopping, all within a few minutes’ walk. We couldn’t have asked for better. Sitting on the window sill as the sun sets and the lights around the Anfiteatro come to life one by one, with a glass of prosecco in hand is the best way to end a day – we will remember our time in Lucca with great affection."
