  • Spacious, clean and wonderful owner!

"The owner is very accommodating and communicates quickly. She checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was well. Nicely stocked with bath products, tissue, utensils/kitchenware .... the owner even provided juice, yogurt and crackers/cookies/bread so that we didn't have to find them ourselves! This was a pleasant surprise! The views from the back of the apartment are gorgeous! Bedrooms are spacious and the baths are updated and clean. It is a good 15 minute walk to the center of the city for shops/restaurants, however it is an easy walk. The location worked well for us to take day trips to other areas of Tuscany (Florence, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Orvieto, Pisa). Parking in front of the apartment is minimal, but we were able to find a place each day usually after circling the area a time or two. Washing machine works well. The apartment was the best stay we had during our 2+ weeks in multiple areas of Italy! Would definitely stay again!"

  • Perfect Tuscan holiday villa.

"Wonderful warm welcome by Maria set off what was a brilliant stay at Villa Angelini. It is located in a gorgeous little village with all the amenities you need, all within walking distance Location is perfect for touring around. The villa itself is a beautiful romantic Tuscan villa and very comfortable. Only negative is the showers are handheld in the bath!! Hopefully the owners will remedy this. Otherwise beautiful. The views over the valley from upstairs at sunrise and sunset are exquisite. The twinkling of the lights from the far away properties must be experienced. It truly is a Tuscan romance!! Maria, the property manager was a delight and so helpful. She made sure our stay was memorable. Thank you. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Though the property owners could provide more candles for outside eating area and perhaps electric lighting outside as well. It's a bit dark for a bbq later in the day. Unfortunately our next stay in a villa in Umbria was not such a fabulous memory - but a disappointment."

  • Absolute perfection!

"This beautiful villa exceeded our expectations. It looked gorgeous from the photographs but it was even more breathtaking in person. The views out over the valley could be seen from the 2 outside patios and the bedrooms. There was plenty of seating for the 4 couples that were in our party. The kitchen and the rest of the house had every amenity you could want. There was ping pong, bocce ball, badminton, board games and of course a pool that was surrounded by hotel quality chaise lounges and umbrellas. Samuela, the housekeeper was so friendly and kept the villa spotless while we were there. Renting it was a simple and easy process and the owners are so accommodating with suggestions of restaurants, things to do in the area and general information about the house and the area. We simply can't say enough good things about this villa!!"

  • Ideal location, excellent accomodation

"The accomodation is roomy and instantly feels like home. The hosts warm welcome and information they provided on the local area added to the pleasure of our 10 night stay. The facilities within the accomodation are more then adequate, plentiful kitchen utensils, cutlery and china, including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting area is very roomy and the outside patio has stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. The village although small has a great restaurant, an Etruscan museum and the occasional special event. The location is perfect for exploring the many nearby hill towns. If you have a wish to enjoy the Tuscan life style in a wonderful environment then Il Pozzo in Murlo is well worth considering."
