  • Beautiful place, Very warm and hospitable people!

"We spent two unforgettable weeks in this beautiful house, located in a very green heart of Italy. Giancarlo, the owner, gave us very warm reception, provided a full information about places to see and events to attend around in Umbria and Tuscany. Very generously he introduced us to his garden and its fruits, vegetables and herbs. Being a talented interior designer in his heart and a very hard-working person, this man manages to keep in perfect condition his available for rent apartments, giving a very individual touch to each of them. We had a wonderful vacation and will highly recommend this house to other people."

  • Wonderful stay at il Granaio

"We stayed in this lovely part of Umbria for two weeks last August. Francesco was a gracious host. Always willing to help but equally gave us space to get on and enjoy our holiday. The property and grounds are spacious, with lovely views of the Umbrian hills. The swimming pool was amazing with views that couldn't be beaten. The location was ideal as it was within easy distance of towns like Perugia and Assisi to name but two and we had some lovely trips to more local towns and hill top villages. Local facilities were good with Tavernelle only a 15 minute drive away and a nice Monday morning market (and great ice creams). We'd certainly recommend this property and the local area. A real taste of Umbria."

  • A wonderful place to stay in Medieval Orvieto run by lovely people

"We were met at the train station by the owner who took us on a little tour of the surrounding area before delivering us to our cozy beautifully restored Medieval townhouse. The house was well maintained and spotless. An added bonus is that you get your exercise using the 2+ flights of stairs, which was a delight for us. The blissfully quiet ancient neighborhood affords a dramatic panorama of the valley below the charming town of Orvieto. The farmers market and restaurants were fantastic, especially in truffle season! The underground attractions were fascinating. At the end of our delightful visit we were delivered back back to the train, how perfect? We highly recommend this experience."
