  • The perfect place to stay and holiday

"We had a perfect holiday courtesy of Daniela and Claudio at their beautiful, secluded hillside, overlooking beautiful valleys and hills and surrounded by horse paddocks and the friendliest pets. Their back to nature approach to land management, including a wonderful, natural swimming pool sums up the experience you will have here. It's is immersive and enriching. Our two children 9 &11 years had a great time running freely and enjoying the pool and animals. Accommodation is simple but just what we needed, with a terrace and self catering amenities. Whilst the location is off the beaten track you are always close to facilities and the hugely rich cultural heritage of Umbria. Daniela and Claudio also made us so welcome that we felt at home and able to fully enjoy the estate. We couldn't have asked for more or had a more enjoyable holiday. We will be back and give this holiday top marks."

  • Beautiful Villa in stunning surroundings

"Our second stay at this beautiful Villa which has it all. Well equipped. A superb pool which is a great size for a family. Stunning scenery, peace and quite. Panicale is a beautiful Umbrian village which has great restaurants and bars should you not want to cook. Highly recommended. We can't wait to go back."

  • Superb start to our travels!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Orvieto. Daniela and her daughter Eleonora made us feel so welcome and were extremely helpful. They met us and helped us to park the car in a nearby parcheggio and then drove us through the narrow winding alleyways to the apartment. We would never have found it on our own! Beautiful people!"

  • Thank you Panicale for welcoming me to your Village

"Phyllis from Australia I have recently returned home after spending two wonderful weeks in an Italian village called Panicale. Panicale with a population of approximately 500 people is situated on the border of Umbria and Tuscany and nestled high above Lake Trasimeno. This village is the ideal ‘base camp’ for day trips, I managed to visit Assisi, Cortona, Perugia, Montepulciano, and Castiglione del Largo and then have the luxury of returning to the peace and quiet of my apartment. I choose to stay at ‘The Artisan’s House’, a well-equipped and exceptionally comfortable apartment which was ideally situated with a short walk from the old gate and the car park area. The apartment overlooked a small, quite park outside the wall on one side and a lovely courtyard on the other - ideal for catching the prevailing breezes. Equally, my location was only a short walk to the supermarket, the Piazza where there are three restaurants, several small shops and a tourist office. Aldo’s Bar del Gallo is the ‘International Hub’ in the Piazza here people from all walks of life and nationality gather for morning coffee or evening drinks blending effortlessly in with the locals –the atmosphere optimises the friendlessness of Panicale. My property manager Katia is the ultimate ambassador for Panicale – she assisted in my choice of apartment to ensure it meet my individual needs – greeted me on arrival, ensured I was settled and returned the following day to introduce me to the village. Katia excels in her role – she effortless blends her professional and personal life – she is a real joy to be with and can but not earn the respect of both the owners of the properties she manages, and those of us that come to stay in her wonderful village. Thank you Katia for taking such good care of me – you radiate warmth and joy - I do plan to return on my next trip to Europe."
