  • Home away from home

"We have just returned from a second 3-week stay at the villa. As the villa is situated on Spello's wall it offers you both spectacular views as immediate access to a genuine Italian village. The villa is beautifully decorated - a true home away from home with all the modern facilities inside an ancient chapel. There is nothing like it. And let's not forget the great outdoor terrace and garden. Spello itself is a truly charming village with some great restaurants, bars, shops and monuments. Touristic but certainly not to much. In the surroundings there are many other incredible places to visit - Spoleto, Assisi, Castelucio... assuring the best possible holiday combining a wonderful home to relax at and the possibilities for many activities."

  • Charming, comfortable, and cool

"My mom and I had a trip of our lifetime last month to celebrate her 70th birthday. Spello was absolutely charming. And it was so perfectly situated to other beautiful towns. We just couldn't even squeeze in everything we wanted to do in 2 weeks. Casa Spello was an ideal spot for us. As we walked up our first night we realized that it is actually built into the wall of the city, which means it has a supreme view. We bought local pastas and produce and cooked in the kitchen. We were in a lower unit, the Mark Anthony, and it stayed amazingly cool. Many of our meals were in the lovely garden, with the view. Nadia was wonderful, helping us with all of our questions and treating us like old friends. And Gina was great, also answering all of our many questions ahead of time (we are not world travelers so had a lot of them!) I would most definitely recommend Casa Spello. Just need to figure out how to get back there again!"

  • A true Umbrian treasure.

"I shared this lovely home with 2 friends the week of Le Infiorate. What a fabulous event this was and we were in the midst of it all being on the Main Street. This quiet hill town became a high energy place filled with many tourists-mostly Italians which was nice to see. The whole event of watching the floral carpets being made was magical. We had everything we could want in this home. The rooms are very light with big windows and shutters that open to the outside. Everything was immaculate. A joy!"

  • Great experience

"We loved our stay in Spello and La Cassata. It is a beautiful hilltop village of real quality in presentation, amenities and particularly great Umbrian food. Andrea was rightfully very proud of her house and very responsive to any needs of her guests. A wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of Italy and this region. No hesitation in recommending."
