  • The best Farmhouse in Gozo

"I have stayed here many times and can wholeheartedly recommend this Villa. It is large and well equipped with all the extras you could wish for. The rooms are clean and airy and the beds very comfortable. I come here usually twice a year and find everything to be all I could want. The location is great. I normally come to dive although this time was for my family so I did a lot of sightseeing. Mary Grace (The owner) is just lovely!.. If you need anything she is at the end of the phone to help. On arrival we had plenty of things to start the vacation like milk, water, biscuits, tea coffee etc. I will be booking at least twice again for next year."

  • Beautiful house!

"Beautiful authentic Maltese house. We stayed in master bedroom very clean and spacious . Bed comfortable! We liked the big doors that opened onto small balconies so we enjoyed the fresh air while sleeping. Living room couches very comfortable and the kitchen was a wow factor . It was the original about 300 years. The outside area with pool, lounge chairs was great for relaxing and the charcoal grill was a plus! We will definitely stay there again !! Communication was excellent with owner, Jean Christophe. Also, Joseph the caretaker was there when needed. Thank you Jean Christophe for letting us stay in your beautiful home."

  • A traditional house better suited to summer lets

"A very traditional Gozo farmhouse more than 400 years old in a quiet position on a quiet no through road. We were met by Alfred Tanti. We had been slightly worried due to the lack of communication from the Tanti family prior to our arrival, with no confirmation of receipt of the final payment for example, but after several e-mails from me to various members of the family shortly before we left home Alfred telephoned me, thus allaying my fears. It rained for two of our days and the open central courtyard, which you cross to the bedrooms and bathroom, gets very wet. It doesn't flood, as it slopes slightly, and there is a squeegee, but it is interesting! Also the rainwater starts trickling down the open stairs eventually from the open upstairs area. My wife's bedroom downstairs was a bit damp after the rain, the limestone soaks in the moisture, we wondered why there was a dehumidifier parked in the bedroom! The gas cooker needs upgrading as the markings had gone. The portable gas heater in the sitting room didn't work so I changed the cylinder for the barbeque one (not difficult but instructions would be useful for the first timer) but then found that the gas seemed to be leaking from the connector, so we lit a fire instead. Would also suggest perhaps some furniture on the very lovely upstairs roof terrace, though there are stone seats. To summarize, a very lovely house with many original features, not heavily modernised, but could benefit from a bit of attention to detail (e.g. dud light bulbs, TV remote out of batteries, round pin lamp in one of the bedrooms etc)."

  • Wonderful Traditional Maltese Farmhouse

"This is an excellent property for families as it has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Lots of outdoor space including a rooftop terrace, and your own private pool! Maria is always available if needed, and has other houses available to rent. You can trust that you are going to get a good product when renting with her. The house was clean, and in the three weeks we stayed they came and did a clean and linen refresh 3 times (no extra charge!). The house is well equipped with everything you might need and even has a washing machine. The wi-fi is very fast and reliable. There is a bus stop right outside the house that will take you into Victoria, but we preferred to walk the 2 km into town. This is the perfect location. Absolutely quiet and peaceful, but close enough to Victoria which is the hub where you can get anything you need, or catch a bus to anywhere on the island. I would highly recommend this property, and would stay again upon return to Gozo."
