  • WOW!

"WOW! WOW! WOW! We were gobsmacked at the most gorgeous views from this beautiful apartment. After a disastrous start to our holiday (we missed our flight to Tivat by a few minutes :( we ended up flying to Dubrovnik the next day (FLY BRITISH AIRWAYS, great service!) and was met by our Taxi as arranged through this apartment's management and as we have never been to Croatia or Montenegro, he took us by the coastal road. He stopped at several places, just so we could take in the glorious views and he pointed out several places of interest. We looked upon this extra expense as a personal tour guide and he was so friendly and helpful, Thank you Branka. If you have the time, I would actually advise you to fly to Dubrovnik and fly out from Tivat. The walk up the steps in the heat nearly killed us (and I would like to say we are reasonably fit, ahem!!) ....after the steep hill before them, but we kept laughing all the way up knowing once we got into the apartment, we would be able to admire the magnificent views of Kotor Bay and all around and watch the incredible Cruise Liners going in and out of the bay. We got to watch the most spectacular thunder and lightening storms at night. The apartment is lovely with everything you need, except WIFI although to be honest, I didn't enquire about this. Just check your mobile info regarding your allowance abroad as Montenegro isn't covered in the European Vodafone Traveller. We didn't hire a car as the taxi's were so cheap, however, it can be hard to hail one down the road so its best to get one of their cards so you can call in advance. We walked into Kotor via the promenade by the sea, took us all afternoon as we kept stopping for coffee and admiring the views. You will discover lovely restaurants on the way. Two in particular we liked, (1) Babilon: friendly, reasonably priced and lovely food AND WIFI and (2) my favourite Furza Mare hotel. You get what you pay for: the MOST DELICIOUS FOOD, excellent service and stunning views AND WIFI. We ate there several times. There is also a spa there but unfortunately I was unable to get any treatments as they were booked. My friend and I certainly enjoyed our week there, we did a lot (boat trips, bus hopper and visiting places) but there is still so much to do and see. A week is not enough but it is a good reason to keep going back. All the arrangements with the owners and their management company were straight forward, any queries quickly answered. Thank you so much."

  • Fabulous location overlooking the beautiful bay.

"Fabulous location overlooking the beautiful bay. The villa is positioned set away up on the hill but not to far from everything. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The hosts Rodger and Liz are lovely, nothing to much trouble. They are very helpful with recommendations too. Would really recommend this villa for a big family or hoe a couple of families holidaying together. Will definitely be back!"

"Top apartment. We have stayed in many over the years but loved this one for the following reasons: - great fixtures and fittings and recently decorated. Very calming and modern. - great views across to Kotor, looks good during the day and at night with the hills lit - perfect pre-communication and greeting from Miljana - WIFI fast, good TV with cable, aircon also powerful - don't be put off with the location not being in Kotor Old Town. It is only a 15 min walk and you get to see it from the apartment outside the tourists. You have a brilliant swimming location away from the habor. - car parking is on the street but we never had any issues parking just outside the house. Thank you very much!"

  • Beautiful!

"Nested in the middle of a beautiful baroque town with direct access to the Adriatic see off the private ponta, this traditional stone house was a perfect destination for our family reunion (5 adults + 2 boys). The outdoor, vine covered pergola provides a great shelter from the summer daze just steps away from the sea, while the open terrace above the souvenir shop becomes a perfect companion to the smallish, but fully functional kitchen for al fresco dining after the sun sets behind the mountain. The rooms on the lower level are smaller, one in particular, but there's plenty of space for indoor activities with kids (TV, video games...) on the big upstairs loft which also features a really nice king size bed. All rooms have gorgeous views of the sea as well! Very friendly owner and overall true family experience, just the vibe we were looking for. If you're in town, go say hi to David and his lovely mom! The next time we are in the area, we will for sure stay here again!"
