  • Very comfortable, well equipped accommodation with stunning views for a wonderful, relaxing holiday

"I received a very warm welcome from my hosts when I arrived. The studio flat is well-equipped and spotlessly clean with an en suite shower and toilet. The kitchen is great and you can easily do all your cooking there or have a barbecue outside on the patio. There's even an outdoor shower to cool off after sunbathing or head down to the local beach about (10mins walk) for a dip in the sea. Very reasonably priced restaurants are within walking distance. There's a well stocked local supermarket in Risan and also a tourist information centre where you can book day trips, hire cars etc. Local transport is easily accessible bus and there is a very comprehensive bus nerwork that takes you around Montenegro or to Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia. Local buses come through hourly. We went out on a few day trips to Kotor, Budva, Dubrovnik, Perast and up into the mountains. The scenery is so beautiful and picturesque. If you're brave, take a walk up to the old fort in Kotor. It's quite a hike up (wear good walking shoes) but the views are worth it. Would definitely recommend taking a boat trip across to see 'Our Lady of the Rock' and the church on the island in Perast, (5mins by boat). There are daily guided tours. The weather was wonderful. It was warm and sunny everyday. I would highly recommend this studio flat for a holiday in Montenegro. You can easily spend all your time outdoors, which is what makes the private, secluded patio area a real bonus if you want to have some down time from sightseeing and sunbathing and just chill..! I've already booked to come back."

  • Expectations exceeded

"I booked Robin's villa for myself and a group of friends to celebrate my 30th birthday, and the location and hospitality offered by Robin means this will be a birthday I will never forget. We had a great week balanced between lounging around the villa and checking out Montenegro attractions. Robin was regularly on hand to give advice, offer the odd ride into town, and set us up with activities. We also took up Robin's services to put a lamb on the spit - the meat and all the sides prepared by Robin were delicious, and great value for money. The accommodation itself is great and really functional for a large group. There's plenty of options for group outdoor seating areas, room to relax by the pool, and space for everyone to bunker down indoors if the weather doesn't hold up also. The pool is a dream (if not a little chilly come September) and the views are simply breathtaking. The views also extended to the sleeping quarters, which were well equipped with comfortable single beds and reliable hot showers. One observation I would make is that if you have a large group using the rooms to capacity, the additional beds in the loft of each room can be a little treacherous to access up narrow ladders - so perhaps not for a slightly older bunch. Overall I couldn't be more happy that I picked this location for my birthday celebrations, and can't reinforce enough how much Robin's hospitality adds to the quality of this booking. He is readily available without being overbearing, is good company, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour."

  • Clean & comfortable with views view views !

"This beautiful place came to our attention because of a new flight from Manchester to Tivat which we had never heard of & so pleased we decided to go. We love photography & Kotor Bay gave us plenty of material. It was simply stunning especially going around the Fjord by boat which is highly recommended. Prcanj is an old stone Mariners village just minutes by car outside Kotor Old Town & at just 20 mins from Tivat airport was absolutely perfect. We really liked the local non touristy feel of Prcanj & had conversations with some friendly locals whose families have lived there for generations. The best fish restaurant (Gusti) in all of the Kotor Bay Area is in Prcanj in a most scenic setting. It is frequented by locals & we were lucky enough to hear a local Capella band there on two of our visits. Also, the waterfront location of the Boka Bay restaurant just down the road was spectacular & romantic.....such a setting ! The apt had everything we needed....clean, comfortable & a great double headed shower, lots of information on activities/restaurants, books/DVDs, picnic cool bag & umbrella for beach which was very useful on our travels around. It is on a hill overlooking everything therefore the views are fabulous & away from noise/traffic. There is a big green area to the front which seems to be home to some tortoises & it was good that we were not looking into other properties out front....only the greenery & water. Car recommended if you want to see the scenery & visit beaches although only get a small car as the roads by the water around the bay are narrow in places. The local buses are adequate & regular if you just want a non driving holiday. A different & great experience for us. Mark & Jilly Bishops"
