  • A lovely warm, home from home cottage

"We loved this place! We booked it last minute as we were in the middle of a bathroom renovation and we all needed a break, me, my husband and our two kids (8 and 11). David communicated with us via email and gave us all the information we needed. We found the cottage no problem and parked near the little shop on the main road. The cottage was warm, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained. Even though the weather was wild, we felt safe and cosy and the seating area and garden to the front was used when the rain stopped! Thankfully, Easter Sunday the sun shone and we walked along the beach to the local hotel for coffee and cake. What a wonderful break, loved it!"

  • Cnocachanach cottage is a lovely holiday home near the sea, with a cosy log-burning stove

"We stayed at Cnocachanach for Christmas . The cottage was warm and comfortable even in the weather we experienced gales sleet and hailstones. There are lovely walks from the cottage along the shore We also visited Inveraray 18th century jail which is well worth a visit, and Kilmartin glen with its stone age burial mounds and standing stones. Even in December just before Christmas we found museums and cafes open The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable in a peaceful location about 20mins from Tarbert were there are some shops . A delightful place to stay even in winter."
