  • Comfortable house in a peaceful setting

"Our family of five spent two weeks at Burnside cottage in August. The house was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We loved the open plan design. Robert, the owner is responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to escape the crowds and stay in this beautiful part of Galloway."

  • Top-notch accommodation on the edge of the Galloway Forest

"Our family of four spent five nights in the ground floor flat at Kenmure Court. We were really impressed by the accommodation - the place has been transformed into a pristine, modern living space that's well equipped. To be honest, we felt like we were the first people to have stayed there, it was immaculate. The Galloway Forest Park is only a couple of miles away. We had our first sailing lesson at the nearby Galloway Activity Centre on Loch Ken. Beach trips to the wide open Luce Sands (about an hour's drive) and the slightly closer and murkier Dhoon beach near Kirkudbright (complete with shipwreck and quicksand...) A rainy day indoor swim in Castle Douglas followed by pancakes at the Double Dutch on the high street. Kate always replied promptly to our emails and texts. Thank you for a brilliant stay."
