  • A really comfortable stay with all mod cons

"Overall a lovely place. I do feel that the arrangements of collecting the key should have been been explained directly to us as was unable to open your email that did have directions. Your call centre was almost unintelligible to me. Sad to say"

  • Lovely property in a fantastic position

"We were a group of 3 adults meeting up for a girly catch up weekend. The apartment has been put together well with good quality fittings and a well equipped kitchen. There was plenty of space for three of us but I think a fourth adult would be a little bit of a squeeze as there is only a 3 seater sofa in the living area. There is a train station 5 minutes drive away which gets you into Glasgow in 15mins. On the way you pass a couple of supermarkets so can pick up everything you need. The traffic noise is a little loud in the bedrooms but this was made worse for us as the motorway was shut that weekend! All in all, this is a lovely apartment that I would recommend to anyone needing a base to visit Glasgow and the surrounding areas."

  • Perfection

"Shore Croft is a very warm, welcoming (and well insulated) property, it offers 5 star accommodation in a stunning location. The four spacious bedrooms have comfortable beds and are tastefully furnished and decorated. The bathrooms were spacious and modern and the underfloor heating was a treat! The lounge felt very homely, again with very tasteful decorations and furnishings. The kitchen / dining area was bright and modern and spacious. The large utility room was also well used! Outside is access to the pebbly beach, outdoor seating areas and fire pit, don't get too cosy inside, get wrapped up and go and watch the shooting stars. The most refreshing thing about Shore Croft was the lack of signs, there's nothing worse than being told "don't touch this, don't touch that", everything was neatly provided in a welcome pack and instruction books. Shore Croft provides everything you need, including spare light bulbs, picnic blankets, outdoor wine glasses, herbs and spices, the list is endless! Not once did we say "they haven't provided.....". The cleanliness was immaculate, top marks to the housekeeper, she keeps the place looking brand new! The quality of the towels, bedding, soaps, crockery, cutlery etc was brilliant (I'm now a big fan of The White Company)! Shore Croft...we miss you already and can't wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful week."

  • Excellent weekend in Edinburgh

"A great base to explore the City, with only a 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile. The apartment was lovely, and the owners very helpful, with everything we needed for the weekend provided, even breakfast cereals. As a group of three females the whole area felt very safe. Although everywhere is walkable, the transport system is really good in the city centre. Buses and trams are very regular and the return airport bus worked well for us. There are lots of places of interest to see and places to eat but can particularly recommend a visit to the Dome for afternoon tea and Mary Kings Close was very interesting."
