  • Bank holiday weekend

"Spent 4 nights at the bungalow on the bank holiday weekend. The accommodation was excellent with two double rooms and twin room for the children, a large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. The bungalow is beautiful albeit we spent most of our time out and about. It was a family holiday and everyone enjoyed the hot tub when we returned after a hard day walking and cycling, this was an added bonus. There is a large garden and the bungalow is situated at the end of a cul de sac which made it safe for the children. The location was ideal as the cycle paths were just across the road, so very safe for our young grandchildren. There are so many outdoor activities nearby it is a great place for enjoying the outdoors. There are loads of eating places to choose from, some within walking distance and a must is the Mountain cafe for breakfast!!!"

  • Nice place and very near everything

"There was a real lack of many things that in the states we take for granted. Things that I felt should have been there. There were only 3 coffee cups and 4 water glasses? No extra blankets, Zero wash cloths!!!!! ration of one towel per person and no hand towels. No Kleenex or garbage cans in any rooms except the kitchen. The internet did not work at all. There was very little toilet paper so be prepared. The owner showed up with two glasses and two spoons for the guests that were coming in a week and removed the toilet paper that was in the storage area. Not sure if she was delivering something or invading our privacy."

  • Very comfortable and in a fantastic location.

"The croft is siutated in a splendid location on one side of and overlooking a sea loch on the east of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The croft is also very well located for getting around all of the rest of Lewis and down to explore Harris and for the ferry crossings to and from Lewis/Harris. The property is very well equipped and cosy and has all of the things that you would need too have a very comfortable stay."

  • Amazing house in beautiful countryside

"This was a perfect holiday home for 3 generations of our family. The bedrooms were so comfortable and we all loved the open plan area downstairs for socialising. Every little detail had been put in place to make our time there memorable from the generous welcome pack to the towelling robes in the bedrooms. I wish the weather could have been better to have made more use of the lovely garden but the youngest members of the family were thrilled with the river at the end of the garden and the rabbits playing on the grass. The Strathardle Inn was friendly and a great place for an evening meal. Thank you Kenny and Kim. You have a beautiful house in Perthshire."
