  • High standard and highly recommend!

"Arrived on Saturday and collected keys to the apartment, all instructions and directions were excellent and enabled us to arrive with ease. First impressions, excellent size decorated and furnished to high standard and very clean. Everything you need is supplied from cutlery and cooking utensils to hairdryer, ironing and washing facilities. Two bathrooms (one en suite), bedrooms and plenty of wardrobe space we could barely fill! Underground parking with allocated space which is perfect, and a lift to save lugging everything up the stairs to the apartment. Internet good speed and TV for a bit of relaxation before retiring to bed, seating provided by a rather large (but comfortable) leather corner sofa and dining table for relaxing dining. Easy to find routes to/from Princess Park makes it a perfect location to explore from. We visited Rhonda, Marbella, Gibraltar etc and the toll road being within easy reach was very handy. . All the facilities were well presented, the balcony had a lovely view and caught the sun for most of the day, plenty of places locally to explore and local restaurants (some of which are within walking distance) were very good and varied menus too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and will certainly be booking again! P.S We collected our keys from the The Bistro in Calahonda and on our return to drop off the keys stopped for Breakfast - food was lovely and will certainly be back for more."

  • A little piece of heaven in the moutains

"Thank you Lilly & Juan for the letting us stay at Casa Rural we have had the best holiday ever. Everyone in the village and surrounding villages was very warm and welcoming everywhere we went. We had some of the hottest days recorded for this time of the year so we spent our afternoons enjoying the well maintained pool and the fantastic views that came with it. To watch my 2 children playing in the pool and garden instead of being stuck to a tablet, mobile phone or video console was a priceless gift. The property was very well maintained and very clean and perfectly equipped. Evenings on the Terrace were spent sipping a lovely glass of Lily & Juan's own homemade white wine whilst we watched the wildlife come to life and enjoyed some of the clearest sky full of stars we had ever seen. We also managed to bring our 4 Pugs with us who had a fantastic time running up and down the property chasing each other. The ideal place to stay especially if you want a break from city life and the stress that comes with it. A day trip to Ronda is highly recommended again everyone there was fantastic and we found endless bargains shopping on the Main Street just off the Bull Ring. We also recommend a short trip to the next village along of Juzcar (Smurf Town) just make sure you visit it on a weekend or Spanish Holidays or you will find most places closed like we did. Once again thank you Lily and Juan we will be back again with you very soon Casa Rural truly was a home from home.. John, Sigita, James & Angelica"

  • torre del mar

"Torre del mar is a beautiful resort, very spanish, not good if you dont speak spanish as most restaurants dont speak english and my spanish is poor, also a lot of seafood. not great for kids, the apartment was spotlessly clean and very close to beach, the only downside was I asked the host if there was english speaking tv channels which he said there was, but only bbc news and sky news , not good at siesta time when nearly all of torre del mar shuts down and trying to keep small children happy with no tv."
