  • Lovely Apartment-Lovely City

"Myself and my wife have just returned from a great five days in Barcelona. After reviewing many apartment rentals we decided on this apartment. We were delighted with the apartment. It is furnished to a very high standard. We rented the one bed which is an internal apartment so there is not much views out the windows but this is not important as the building is an original building in a very old (but best) part of the city. There is a nice rooftop terrace where you can have a relaxing drink after a long day out.The people in the card shop next door will look after you, they are very helpful. We traveled all over Barcelona and can honestly say the Latin Quarter is the best area. There are many bars and restaurants and shops on your doorstop. Our favorite restaurant was Milk, lovely food especially their burgers. We took the red hop on hop off bus tour for two days from Plaza Catalonia. The ticket is 27 euro one day or 39 euro two days.Sounds a bit expensive but worth it as there is so many things to see and some are outside the centre. We always rent apartments when we do city breaks and can honestly say you will not be disappointed with this apartment or with Barcelona."

  • Good location, a little tedious of a check in process

"The apartment itself is pretty good. It's in a good location, and looks exactly like the pictures. There are 2 things I would change: I wish the property manager would address how they check in visitors. After a very long trans-Atlantic flight, we had to first go to the property manager's office to sign papers and pick up keys, all the while lugging our luggage around. I've stayed in several vacation rentals (4 more on just this trip to Spain), and this is the first time I had to go to a separate location to pick up keys. If you stay here, I recommend taking cabs. They window really needs black out curtains. It faces the east, so the sun lights up the studio apartment very early in the morning (and you know Spaniards stay up late). The current curtains just don't block out the sun."

  • Fabulous stay

"What a fabulous stay it was! Atmospheric room with good selection of book and CD, excellent location, etc. I will come back again in the near future. Only one notice, there is no elevator in the apartment, so I don't recommend persons who have some difficulty walking up steps to stay here. Anyway, I enjoyed the stay to the full. Thanks."

  • Fantastic

"The apartment was located right in the middle of El Born, a great area to visit shops, museums and cathedrals. A great place to walk around. The bed was comfy, and the kitchen was handy. The apartment came with a hair dryer and washer/dryer. Unfortunately the hair dryer had wires taped together and did not work, and we had issues using both the washer and dryer (could never get the dryer working, so hung our clothes out the window to dry like the locals). We had an issue with the key to get into the apartment, but once we figured it out it was good after that. There was some noise from jack hammers, and from other apartments, but mostly was fine."
