  • Perfect apartment in Barcelona

"Our family of four enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Barcelona. The beds were very comfortable, apartment was clean and everything we needed was supplied and just as stated. The view of the sagrada Familia is amazing and it was nice to be able to look out the windows and watch the people of Barcelona walk by. It was close to the metro and you could walk to a lot of the restaurants and shopping nearby. We felt very safe in the area and in the apartment. You can walk to many of the famous sites in Barcelona from this apartment also."

  • Pleasant & comfortable stay

"Monica was a most accommodating, generous and welcoming host, e.g. collecting us from the airport as our flight arrived late in the evening and providing a good breakfast with excellent coffee each morning. She helped those of us who are non-Spanish speakers by making her computer available with Google Translate, which worked well. She also speaks good French! We were part of a group of 8 and she managed to make room for all of us. The accommodation was simple and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers or baths. The location is a bit of a distance outside the centre of Barcelona but public transport is within a walk of about 10mins (to overground local train) and easy enough to get into and back out of the centre of Barcelona by using the Metro and connecting with the local train. Just be aware of the time of the last trains out of Barcelona, and be sure that the train stops at Can Ros. Also for people who may have mobility issues, you do need to walk uphill from the train to the accommodation. However if you're looking for a no hassle friendly place to stay, away from the crowds of downtown and offering great value, then this could be what you're looking for."

  • Lovely apartment

"Had a lovely time in Barcelona with my husband and 7 year old. He loved the little bed in the loft. Barcelona very busy, but a lovely city. Struggled to find anything to eat before 8pm, but think this is Spanish culture. The doorway and stairs up to the apartment looks a bit unsavoury and dingy, however the apartment is nice and very safe. Lots of steps up to apartment, which wasn't a problem for us, but may be for an older person and the railings quite short, so make sure children don't lean over. Manuel (although we never met) was a lovely host and offered to book a table for dinner and sent directions to the good restaurants and even ordered us a taxi to the airport. If you want a real Spanish experience stay here. Bed lovely and comfy and shower was hot with lots of power. The apartment was clean and compact with a heater for the cold wheather. Small shop two doors up and plenty of cafes for pastries. Apartment really close to everything. We booked open top tour for two days and also walked to the gothic quarter which was fantastic. Loved our little break."
