  • Excelente ubicacion, bien amoblado y aperado y dueno amable y honesto.

"El apartamento esta a menos de 300 mts del Museo Reina Sofia y muy cerca de sitios como Museo del Prado y Jardin del Retiro. Es muy limpio el apartamento, tal como esta en las fotos, buenas camas, y cocina bien aperada con elementos necesarios y adicionales como la lavadora. El dueno es muy claro en el precio y las condiciones de arriendo asi como al momento de la entrega. Puedes rentarlo con confianza."

  • Loved it!

"Loved the Apartment! Loved the Terrace! Loved being right on Plaza Dos De Mayo in the center of of Malasaña ! Owner super accommodating with our rather complex and changing check-in time. Also, get this, we inadvertently overpaid and would have never realized it if the owner hadn't brought it to our attention and then immediately refunded it! As this apartment is right on Plaza Dos De Mayo--in many ways the epicenter of happening Malasaña--it has everything you need within a few feet of the front door, but it's also busy and noisy well into the night. I'm 60, typically go to bed early and consider myself somewhat noise-sensitive. That said, I loved it. It didn't bother me at all, but I was there in March and it was cool in the evening so I slept with the windows closed. Might be a different story when it's hot out, so if your super neurotically noise-sensitive or have kids, blah blah, this might not be the place for you. (although I think there is air conditioning). A fun thing that happened was that on Sunday morning some kids who'd obviously been up all night were continuing their party on the terrace of an apartment diagonally across the plaza. When we came out on our terrace they smiled and waved for us to come join them. We didn't but it was sure sweet of them to ask us oldsters over like that. Oh Yeah, I almost forgot, I love Madrid and Malasaña is Madrid at its most magical! I'd definitely stay in this place again!"

  • Christmas in Lavapies

"This is a very comfortable flat accurately described in the listing. We cooked several full meals using the oven and stovetop. As is usual, there are rarely any good sharp knives in rentals, but we managed with the knives provided. We had only one difficulty which was losing internet but the owner was responsive and helpful in re-establising internet using her private account. There is a bar nearby that could be noisy but with the windows closed, it was quiet enough to sleep. Heating system worked very well. Washing machine worked well also. Flat was clean and tidy. Largest bed was the most comfortable. The smaller bed is actually a futon type bed and not very comfortable for an adult although it might work well for a child. There were 2 closets in which to hang clothes so there is a place to put jackets, suitcases etc. El Corte Ingles was close by so quite easy to buy groceries. Eclectic neighborhood - my son was thrilled to buy a used jeans jacket in a thrift shop nearby for a couple euros! Quick access to metro. My security deposit was returned the day we departed ! I'd stay there again :)"

  • The location is excellent, the ...

"The location is excellent, the apartment clean and the neighborhood reasonably quiet. The bathroom is the worst feature. The vanity unit is rotten and urgently needs replacement; the mirror falls off the wall if touched (dangerous); there is only one towel hook and the shower is tiny. A shelf or rack in the shower on which to place soap and shampoo would be nice. We were also disappointed that there were none of the usual cooking supplies, such as pepper and salt, sauce, oil, etc. It is impossible to cook without them, but short term renters don't want to buy them, except to replace something that has been used. The lounge chair, entertainment unit and bedroom storage units are all old and damaged and wouldccost very little to replace. Despite all these comments, we enjoyed our stay."
