  • Spacious and well located apartment in Valencia

"We first went to Valencia as a family in 2015, staying closer to the city centre. As parents with 3 kids, kids who preferred the beach to the architecture of the city, we decided this year to book somewhere closer to the sea. Knowing the city fairly well from previous visits, we were comfortable taking the metro from the airport, and the transfer from the tram stop to the apartment is just 5 mins on foot. The apartment was all as described in terms of location, space etc, and it didn't disappoint. There is plenty to do in Valencia, and the apartment is in the perfect position to explore the options. Bikes are available to hire locally, and the many kms of safe cycle paths make it a fun day out. As (relatively) active parents, both my wife and I enjoyed our morning runs along the beach front, and the Turia park. The beach, as described, is just 10 minutes walk away. Most evenings we'd eat out, and the location is well served. After long, active days, the apartment became a real home from home, and we all relaxed very well into it. Even with 5 of us, we had plenty of space to relax on our own."

  • Good, refurbished apartment.

"This is a nice, clean flat to spend a week or two in Valencia. It supports 2-4 people via 2 double beds. Nice and newly refurbished apartment and appliances; the bathroom's a little small, but ok. Sheets/Towels of moderate quality. Kitchen also recent, and has the necessary items to cook meals, but only a small fridge. There is a table in the kitchen area which folds up into a small 2 person table, however it is difficult to access kitchen area while the table is extended (a minor annoyance - you'll have to shimmy past the table awkwardly, or keep raising and lowering the table ). It is a good location in the city, close to the city center, and the building is pretty nice. Good light too during the day! A good flat overall, solid value. Also, the wifi is pretty good."

  • Very quiet location for 2 families with teenage children - you can make as much noise as you like!

"We were a little concerned that no one had reviewed the villa prior to our stay but we need not have have worried. Mark the owner and the second Mark who looks after the villa during your stay made the whole experience most enjoyable. A car is a must - the nearest bar / restaurant is 1.5km away and the nearest big supermarket around 5km. We tended to use the excellent BBQ area rather than eat out, and there are numerous seating areas. However we did venture to El Coto the local restaurant/bar provides good local cuisine and is excellent value for money. 8 of us ate for under 150 euros including drinks. The tennis court, pool table and excellent pool kept the kids entertained for hours - with the weather in the mid 30s we spent all day outside and did trek to the local beaches about 15 minutes away a couple of times. With temps that high outside you need to manage the temp inside the house carefully during the day to ensure you are able to sleep overnight. There is aircon in the lounge which is where the kids decided to sleep, which meant we were able to double up the fans for the adults upstairs and found this to be a very comfortable solution. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and we only found ourselves to be short of 1 or 2 pieces of cutlery but there are plastic cups for out door drinks which makes a lot of sense. We have stayed in many villas over the years and I would summarise this as well equipped although not luxurious but probably one of the best value for money villas we have stayed in."
