  • High end property in a great location.

"The photos for this house do not do it justice, it is much roomier than they depict. My family and I (2 adults and 3 teens) rented this house for 1 week in August 2016. It is in a quiet residential area near to a fabulous lake that is suitable to swim in (we did). The house is modern, light , clean and cosy with every conceivable gadget you could wish for to make your stay more comfortable. There is ample parking. It is suitable for adults, teens and children. And to be honest, we didn't want to leave. Communication with the owners up to and beyond checking in was superb. Lots of brochures and maps were left out for us to discover the local area. The owners left there mobile number for us to contact them for questions and concerns. There are 3 supermarkets nearby. One within easy walking distance, 2 others that are either a 10 minute bus or car ride away (Lidl and Coop). If you have a car you can easily drive into Stockholm from here - it takes around 20mins. Parking can be expensive. You can also take the bus from the main road near the house. It goes to Slussel which is in the heart of Stockholm. Cash is not accepted on the bus and you need SL travel card. These aren't as easy to get nearby as you'd think so best research how to get one before heading to the house on your day of arrival. There is a Pressbyran newsagent in nearby Orminge centrum that sells the SL travel cards but you either need a car to get there, or the bus which of course you can't do if you don't have the SL travel card. I would most definitely recommend this house to stay in for a wonderful holiday."

  • Beautiful house in tranquil setting

"We spent three weeks as a family at Kulla Gard in July/August 2016. As we had already rented the house three years earlier we were very keen to return. The setting is spectacular, with gardens surrounding the house, the lake behind, and the whole surrounded by pine and birch forest. The house is really well designed for family living with plenty of living space both inside and outside. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern utensils and ample crockery and glasses. There is also a large barbecue under a covered porch, which has a dining area and heaters for chilly evenings (although we did not need to use them as the weather was excellent) and a second large dining area on the open decking. The house is furnished to a very high standard, with comfortable sofas in both the main sitting room and the television room . The bedrooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. There is internet access and cable TV, but we hardly used the latter as there were so many other distractions. The jetty, was a great place to sunbathe, to swim and fish from and we enjoyed feeding the crayfish that lived underneath. The rowing boat provided was great fun. The small children in our party had plenty of space to run around and play games. We explored the forest and picked blueberries, which were ripe at the time we were there and enjoyed making blueberry pies. The more energetic of us ran and or cycled along the forest tracks. For lovers of wildlife it is an ideal location. There are grebes on the lake. eagles overhead, deer in the garden and moose in the forest, not to mention a multitude of small birds, rabbits etc.. The photographs on the web-site do not do justice to the house or its surroundings. It is truly a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. It is surprising how convenient the location is for access to Stockholm or to the ferries to the outer archipelago. A short car journey to Varmdö Marknad and we were able to take the bus into the city – 20 minutes into the centre and no worries about parking! A similar car journey in the opposite direction and the ferry took us to Sandhamn and its beautiful beaches. There is a good restaurant/pizzeria close by and excellent supermarkets and other restaurants a short drive away. Christina and Lennart, the owners, are very friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure that we had an enjoyable holiday. We very much look forward to visiting again."

  • Elegant, perfectly appointed apartment in a beautiful neighborhood.

"Stockholm is now one of our favorite cities thanks to the gracious hospitality of our hosts and this gorgeous apartment. This home is large, light and superbly decorated with beautiful art and furniture and has every amenity one could hope for- even a built- in espresso machine. The location is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that is near public transportation and within walking distance of great restaurants, museums, shops and the waterfront. It is truly one of the best places we have ever stayed and we would happily stay there again on our next trip to Sweden. I wish there were more than 5 stars to award !"

  • Koselig hus med god utsikt

"Rent og pent hus. Kort avstand til Stockholm, men samtidig nært sjø og natur. Ved lagt ferdig til å fyre i peis. Virkelig trivelig hus som jeg kan anbefale på det varmeste."
