  • fantastic villa, sea views, stunning location

"Brendan said that Kas is a special place. I now know what he means. We spent a wonderful week in June in Villa Aphrodite with our 19 year old son. The location and the sea views are stunning. The villa is very comfortable and the furnishings, fitout and overall standards are exceptional. The outside areas, pool, bbq, loungers, are fabulous, and very relaxing. Kas itself was a fun place, lots to do and see, and yet not too big or too busy. Plenty of restaurants, shops, curiousities. We did a couple of boat trips, (Bermuda and Captain Garlic Ali), which were great. We also took water taxis to local beaches, and did some kayaking. We visited Saklikent, and rafted in some refreshingly cold water. We also spent time at some Lycian ruins and a trout farm in Tlos. The Friday market in Kas is worth going to, there is a great buzz, and we picked up some gifts for family at home. All in all, a fantastic first visit to Turkey. It will not be our last."

  • Superb location with stunning views.

"We arrived late to be welcomed by Levent the owner of the adjacent appartment retreat who quickly familiarised us with the villa . Everything was clean , tidy and above our expectation. The air con and comfortable beds ensured a good nights sleep after our journey . We awoke to brilliant sunshine , 35 degrees and stunning views of the immediate grounds and surrounding hills from the first floor balcony . The pool is shared with the adjacent house only , but we had it to ourselves for our two week stay , the bigger pool in the adjacent complex is available if you fancy a more energetic swim . The honesty bar is great and I'd recommend the cheese burger cooked to order by Levent and his staff. The villa has all appliances you'd expect at home , take time to read the comprehensive info pack and guest book for ideas about where to eat and what to do. The villas location is less than 5 minutes walk from the river bank and pancake house where you can sit in the cool shade , feed the fish and river turtles , watch the boats go by and if you're lucky catch a glimpse of a sea turtle coming up the river to feed. The main town centre can be reached by varied routes by continuing along the river bank or the quiet roads either way it's only 10-15 minutes walk with many restaurants along the way. The choice of activity and trip providers was quite overwhelming at first but Levent back at the villa complex put us in touch with a local guy who was really helpful. It's worth paying a few extra lire for the trips done in smaller groups . Typically 12-15 for the moonlit cruise and twelve island day cruise. The local restaurants are all good quality and great fun we never had a poor meal. Try the Sunset restaurant for a taste of traditional Turkish farmhouse cooking with a stunning view , Levent will make the booking for you and organise a taxi. We'd definitely recommend this villa and Dalyan in general and look forward to coming back next year and the next ...... Etc."
