  • Tranquil and a slice of paradise

"We found Villa Passion last year when friends that had joined us in Turkey fell in love with the area and when they got home searched on the web for a suitable place for 3 couples. We went to see it while we were still in Hisaronu and decided it definitely was what we wanted. Arrived late at night and the marvellous Arife and her husband Oliver had prepared a delicious welcome meal for us, quite unexpected but much appreciated. The Villa was great for us. One tiny criticism was the lack of cupboard space in the bedrooms but did not spoil our stay at all. Arife and Oliver were always on hand but never intrusive and we requested an Ottoman dinner for 9 (my daughter and 2 of our friends joined us there) which was fantastic and great fun. The Villas are reached by a narrow track ,which at one point is very narrow, but it means there is no passing traffic as the area is well away from any roads and the associated noise. I think it is the perfect honeymoon location. We have been visiting Turkey for 18 years now and Ithink this has been the most wonderful place yet. Highly recommended."

  • Holiday Heaven

"We have just returned for spending 3 weeks at the wonderful Plantation Vila on the outskirts of Dalyan. The villa sits in such an panoramic, private and peaceful location. The vistas of the mountains, the pomegranate orchards and the distant coastline is amazing, as is the star gazing at night. The pool is fabulous, as is the sun terrace and surrounding gardens. The villa itself offers everything that you need; we did a few home cooked snacks and used the BBQ a number of times with fresh meat and seafood purchased from town. Did not watch TV, although did watch a DVD one night, the Wifi was a god send to keep in touch with home and plan the next days activities, the washing machine was a plus and even did all the washing before packing for home. All the rooms are fresh and clean, as well as being of decent sizes. The bedrooms (all ensuite) were great and the beds extremely comfortable. This villa is also disability friendly with a solid pathway leading to the back door, the downstairs is open plan with 2 bedrooms and wet room ensuites. The 3 large dogs from down the lane that like to use the sun terrace are friendly dogs, but when you first come across them you are wary. If we did not want them round the pool we would beckon for them to leave and they would. I do suggest not to feed them, as if you do they arrive out of the blue when there is food at hand (took a couple of days of 'no food' before they realised this food source had finished). The location of the villa allows the use of the dolmus for transportation into town (5mins) or to Iztuzu Beach (15mins) - we however always hire a car and do day trips off exploring the area. There are many places and things to do; the beach, the lake, mud baths, the turtle sanctuary, surrounding towns and villages - it is a wonderful place to explore, discover and enjoy! A few minutes walk down the lane to our fave Breakfast of Nar Danesi's, their pomegranate juice and shared turkish breakfast is a must. Must also say that Sinan's (villa manager) who has a restaurant in town serves the best steaks. Sinan is a wonderful and helpful man and can not only cook fabulous food, he can also organise many a trip for you. The town of Dalyan is very warm and friendly and offers many choices for eating, drinking, shopping and just watching the world go by. In closing, we thank Jan and David for sharing Plantation Villa and our 3 weeks there were 'heaven on earth'.....thank you!"
