  • Better than the photos!

"In the heart of Kingham village next to the track to Daylesford which we enjoyed walking to. Also, good walking tracks for jogging. Stunning and extensive gardens (5 acres) which we were allowed to use. Owners clearly keen gardeners and we loved spending time wandering and playing in the grounds. Good sized swimming pool with steam room which I'd overlooked when booking but we found ourselves using every day. Large TV with sky sports in the adjacent room to the pool. The cottage has quality fittings and furnishings. Sofas and beds extremely comfortable and I think were brand new. Nice mix of contemporary and classic. Extremely spacious and light as there is a conservatory ceiling to the kitchen and dining room. Big laundry room. Ensuite bedroom downstairs suited Grandad. Kingham is a very pretty village. Two excellent gastro pubs - the Plough and the Wild Rabbit (where we'd stayed before) but our favourite was the Kings Head in Bledlington (5 mins by car) which had more of a local down to earth feel - booking essential. We visited Adam Henson's farm (Country File) which was only a 15 minute drive and on our way spent the day at Bleinhem Palace (not to be missed)."

  • Wonderful property! A lovely, well equipped home within stunning views.

"We found Seal Point to be to a high standard in every way. It was comfortable and spacious yet cozy. The owners were helpful and left very good and detailed information on how to use everything and also about the surrounding area. The views from the house are breathtaking and the village of Mousehole itself charming. Can't say enough about our trip there!"

  • Home from Home with fabulous country views

"This was my second visit to this cottage, it has proved to be an ideal quiet location for when I visit my daughter who is studying at the University. It is a lovely spacious cottage with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay, the owners are very friendly and helpful, my dog is made to feel welcome too and he got on very well with owners own dog who often wanders around the property. The views from the lounge and kitchen are fabulous country scenes all the way down to the sea in the distance. I hope to stay here again later in the year."
