  • A lovely tranquil location

"We really enjoyed our stay at Waterloo Farm. It was a very warm welcome on arrival, and we were shown around the very large and pleasant grounds, including a sheep field and small lake, which we were invited to wander whenever we liked. The location is close to Ludlow, which is a historic town with many interesting shops, along with its castle which is quite reasonably priced to visit. We also visited Croft Castle and Berrington Hall which are National Trust properties. We also took a trip to Knighton to take a walk along Offa's Dyke, which had some excellent views. All in all, we really enjoyed our trip and it was a welcome break from technology, which meant we spent some quality time as a family."

  • Loved the house and all the quirky pictures, books and curiosities.

"Perfect place for a large family or group of friends. Excellent communication, very friendly and the house is in a very good location for Ludlow and surrounding walks. We enjoyed the stream at the bottom of the garden for a morning wake up dip! A classic country house with all the trimmings."

  • Warm and cosy Christmas Break.

"This delightful Coach House has been beautifully furnished to a very high standard, with a Victorian theme. The sumptuous bedroom is on the ground floor and the living space and kitchen is on the 1st floor which takes full advantage of the spectacular valley views. It is located in a very scenic part of Wales with rolling wooded hillsides and narrow tracked roads, with plentiful footpaths/bridleways and is close to Offa's Dyke, which you can access straight from the door. The Coach House was impeccably clean and thoughtfully equipped and our hosts generously provided a bottle of Champagne on our arrival. Thank you John and Paul for a wonderful stay."

  • Excellent cottage, all the home comforts

"Stayed here for a few days break following Christmas. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating and had literally thought of everything. We stay away quite regularly in similar places but this was by far the most impressive. The whole cottage was spotless,?we couldn't fault our stay."
