We absolutely loved our 10 week stay in this amazing guest house! It was perfect for my wife and I. The design of the house is stunning, and is in a quiet, comfortable neighborhood. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We walked to the library, Carlsbad Village, and the beach often. Highly recommend this guest house!

This property was great. The host was so responsive if I had any questions. The bed was super comfortable and the steam shower was really a great addition. The unit had everything one could need. Blow dryer, hair straightener etc. Hats off to all the thought that was put into making sure each guest had a nice stay by The host. Location is great. We will be returning next year

The Hideaway Retreat was an ideal space to stay in Carlsbad and celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary and attend the Carlsbad Street Fair. The cottage offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Onsite parking in a private driveway, clear communication with the owner, fully stocked kitchen, living, and sleeping areas, and high walkability to nearby shops and restaurants are reasons to stay here. We traveled with our 15 year old senior pup, who enjoyed exploring the enclosed backyard and daily morning trips to Maxton Brown Park located less than a block from the cottage. Deanna, the owner, put much thought into the amenities that make a successful vacation rental. One being the spa-like shower head and tranquil bathroom offering a nice way to start and end the day. The other is a compact Weber gas grill situated on a raised wagon wheel table. We cooked our anniversary dinner of seared Norwegian salmon, local swordfish, jumbo scallops, and zucchini on it. It was a special meal and best way to celebrate 20 years together. We drank great coffee and beer, ate delicious food, and got a healthy dose of exercise exploring the adjacent Carlsbad Village area. We met and had great conversations with many locals who live in and around the area. If you're not sure what to do or need suggestions, Deanna texted a list of activities and put together additional information in a well kept binder on the TV stand. We hope to return soon for more relaxation and exploration in Carlsbad.

The condo was very comfortable and has great views of back country and wildlife preserve. Trail heads just a block a way and range from easy to difficult treks. Very convenient location to all freeways and shopping and dining. Would stay here again. Host is very responsive and friendly.

Tony the owner and property manager was so helpful. They made sure we had everything we would need to get going on our first night at the condo. As well as many other daily necessities supplied. The place is stunning. Modern, clean and very comfortable. The views are amazing! The location is really convenient. Walking to the village and beach and other local places is so easy. We look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful visit.

The property is in a convenient location, the home was lovely with a great patio and view. It was very well stocked and the neighborhood was quiet There was good communication with Sahar, the host. We highly recommend this property.
