Baldwin rentals with hot tubs

Wonderful, clean, comfortable

My mother in law, sister in law and myself stayed a few days to just unwind and relax. It's been 25/30 years since my mother in law has gotten away!. We had a fabulous time!!

This cabin is excellent and perfect for families large or small. It was very clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully designed. All beds were very comfortable and the furniture high end. Everything about our stay was easy and comfortable. The outdoor space was so much fun, everything you need to entertain all ages. Our dog loved the property! The hosts even provide fire wood for the wonderful fire ring. The hot tub was super nice, clean, easy to use, and so enjoyable after a long day hiking. Would give this rental 6 stars if I could. So many small details were thought out and provided. My family will most definitely be back! The host was wonderful! Very communicative

This getaway was a great end to our summer. House was clean and exactly how it was described. Outdoors and the lake was perfect for relaxing and enjoying our jet skis. Will definitely rent again in the future.

The property was great, the location was perfect. Would I recommend this cabin to anyone thinking about booking? Yes, Yes, absolutely YES!! It has everything you could possibly dream of wanting or needing. We are looking forward to our next stay, definitely multiple nights

Black Bear Cottage is a wonderful retreat on Whalen Lake. The furnishings were very comfortable and the cottage was well equipped. We were not able to take advantage of the kayaks due to the cool and windy weather. The fall colors were beautiful around the lake and throughout the Manistee National Forest. It is centrally located for day trips to Ludington and Traverse City.

We loved the space, it was well stocked and it was perfect for a quiet little escape :)
