Great neighborhood walking distance to bus and trains. Coffee and food very close by. Houseboat was fun and a unique experience. If you have physical limitations the few stairs going down to boat are not easy and the beds were very soft. Other than those two notes we would highly recommend!

The host for this fantastically located, beautifully adorned houseboat on the canal (approximately 500m from the Anne Frank House) is fabulously hospitable. We arrived with everything perfect including welcome drinks, snacks and fresh fruit to enjoy while we sat on the waterfront deck enjoying the energy and environment of Amsterdam. So grateful for this experience and will recommend to all we know.

My husband and I stayed for several days and it was a perfect adventure. We wanted something other than another hotel stay and we got it! Very cozy, well appointed, and a great location. Between the ferries (5 min walk) and the train station (20 min walk), we had everything we needed to get around. Host was incredibly helpful in sharing information. Would absolutely stay again.

We had an amazing visit to Amsterdam thanks to our HomeAway Houseboat Rental. We were situated exactly where most would prefer, it was very quiet on the water at night. Arie was a very gracious host who always responded quickly on any questions we had, before and during our stay. Lots of special touches that were very much appreciated, like plenty of fresh towels, designer soaps and more. Easy going and helpful. Definitely recommend Arie's houseboat when visiting Amsterdam!

Great and unique stay. Much better than a typical hotel room or even a routine VRBO home. Coffee in the mornings on the stern watching the city come to life. Easy walks to all the best Amsterdam has to offer with the convenience of stopping back in mid day to relax. Drinks in the evening on deck watching the canal traffic float past you or friends over for dinner up top. I have been to Amsterdam over a dozen times, this was the most memorable. Hosts were easy and quick with any communication. Would recommend highly.

If your looking for the quintessential Amsterdam experience this is it! The house boat is close to everything while still being is a quiet residential neighborhood. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. We loved our stay and now feel we have friends here.

My husband and I could not have enjoyed our houseboat home for the weekend more! It was fun to be on the water, the location is quiet and beautiful for sunrise and sunset. We appreciated Arie's communication, recommendations, and access to bikes! It was super quick to bike anywhere in Amsterdam from this location. We also used the Wifi to get some work done while we were there and had no issues. Thank you Arie!! We would definitely stay here again!

When in Amsterdam, stay on a house boat! This was such a cool experience for our family, the kids loved waving to the passer-bys and the location was perfect for sightseeing! Great shower and while there isn't a "true kitchen" the necessities are plenty to support small meals on site!
