Easy access... great stay... loved it... will rent again

The home was clean and accurately described in the listing. The host was very responsive before and during the stay to help with anything. The check-in process was super smooth with no problems. The home also has a beautiful view from its deck that we enjoyed each morning. All the bedrooms were well stocked with more than enough bedding and the kitchen had everything we needed too. The only things to be aware of when booking this place is that it does require going up 2-3 flights of steep stairs to access the home which wasn’t a big deal for us but could be for certain groups. The walkways and living area are a bit tight as well and the spiral stairs to access the loft are pretty narrow. Nothing extreme but wouldn’t recommend for more elderly individuals. Overall we loved the home and enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. The location worked great for us too where it felt quiet and relaxed while still having easy access to the lake.

The house is a very short drive to Palisades and Alpine Meadows Ski Resort so you avoid a lot of traffic. The house is not large, but you don't need a big place if you are spending most of the day on the slopes. Appliances, carpet and bathrooms appeared to have been recently upgraded. The beds are very comfortable and the children loved having Apple Play on the TV in one of the bedrooms with bunk beds. There is a computer and desk in the downstairs bedroom if you need to work. The ski clothing and equipment could be stored in a secured area before entering into the house. The only cons are that the the kitchen is very small and the doors could use some re-finishing work. Also, there was no wood for the fireplace so we had to purchase some. The owner/manager is an excellent communicator. . .always responding to messages and providing tips. She should be considered a super host.

We had an awesome time at the Powder Moon on our ski vacation. It is close to the mountain and has convenient access to a shuttle that will take you to and from the property. The house itself is beautiful. We especially liked the family room for game nights and porch for grilling and sitting outside. Mike gave us clear and detailed instructions for check in and even came by to clear the driveway of snow to make it easier for us to get in and out. Overall, awesome place, would love to stay again!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. The house was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. There were many thoughtful amenities throughout the house (well stocked kitchen and bathrooms with toiletries to make our stay comfortable). The home is beautifully updated. Our family loved the proximity of the house to Palisades, set in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the ease of taking the ski shuttle to the Palisades village, snuggling in the front room by the fireplace and taking a walk in the neighborhood at the end of the day. It was our first time to Lake Tahoe but it hopefully will not be our last! This was the perfect home base for our family as we were looking to experience the many things the area has to offer. The home was very clean and comfortable and in a great location. Tahoe City and Truckee were only a 10-15 minute drive away and the (free) TART bus stop was also just a short walk down the path. There were plenty of great restaurants, hikes and water activities in the area as well and we especially enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after a long day of activity. Linda was a great host and extremely easy to work with. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful place to call home while visiting Lake Tahoe!
