Hopland house rentals

Place is a loft on top of a barn/garage. Beautifully built place! Perfect for a couple, we were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect spot for us to slow down, relax and unwind. The hosts were the kindest people EVER. we WILL be back!

My husband and I booked the home for a friends wedding. Our mother and the grandmother of the groom stayed with us and we had plenty of privacy and space. All the rooms were immaculate and the outdoor deck and seating areas were perfect. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and explored the local small country roads by foot. It was also less than a mile walk into town. The house was well-stocked and we would recommend this location to anyone visiting the Hopland area. We hope to return again just to explore the local wineries. Gratitude to our wonderful hosts for an amazing gift basket packed with treats and wine and for excellent communication and instructions. If we could give 6 stars we would.

Nice, cute cottage way out there. The cottage is a bit funky but clean and tidy with all of the basic amenities. Grounds keeper Annette was kind and lovely. Great for what it was. Thank you!

The property is perched on a hill with a beautiful view. It was very representative of the area and in a great spot to visit wineries and Mendocino. The owner gave great recommendations on places to visit which were right on the mark. I did have some trouble with locking the awesome doors in the house but recommend you follow the owner's instructions that he left to figure it out. All and All a nice family to include our spoiled mutt. I would recommend this property.

We had 4 families stay in the house, 8 adults and 6 teens, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. It's old but most of the spaces have been renovated. Everything was clean and well-equipped. Having six spaces with king size beds was very helpful. The second dishwasher was also helpful for a large group. The host was very responsive. One thing that the listing didn't make clear is that only 3 of the bedrooms have en suite baths. One has a bathroom across the hall, and another (the only non-updated bathroom) was fairly far away from the bedroom and down the hall. The sixth king size bed is in the second downstairs family room, with the full baths all upstairs. We ended up having all of the kids stay in the downstairs family room (2 in bed, 2 on couches, 2 on air mattresses), and then use their parents' bathrooms. It worked for us, but would not be a good fit for 5 or 6 couples. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house has character and is well-maintained. We would visit again.

Tadpole cottage was a sweet destination to chill in the countryside for a few days. Although the weather was hot and there is no air conditioning, the place stayed nice and cool at night and was easy to sleep. The ducks were so cute and personable we had a great hang. Town is close enough if you forget anything and there are plenty of great wineries on the road. Would certainly come back if I find myself in the neighborhood.

My husband and I came to the area to attend a local musical weekend at Le Vin winery. Could not have been at a more convenient place to stay. It was a very very hot weekend and a little hard to keep the house cool but Annette who is the on-site property manager can’t be beat for responsiveness and support throughout our stay. She came by with an extra AC unit, installed it and made certain that we had everything we needed. That extra AC unit made the difference. Because we had so many fans and AC units going we did blow a circuit from the hair dryer and Annette was there within moments to make certain that we got our power back on and showed us how to do it in the future. If you’re going to stay in a cabin in the woods in a rural area, you gotta be ready if things are gonna happen, and Annette was a gem. Note that the house has basic supplies. Pots and pans, cutlery, fridge, and dishwasher. And a grill on the deck. We brought our own plastic bags and tin foil and there wasn’t any in the house. It would be good if some of the window coverings were replaced as it can get hot from the west facing windows. It is a beautiful spot with a pond and the friendliest ducks came right to the house for food that is provided. We picked blackberries for breakfast and visited with the horse and goats. Quails and fox, and a beautiful sunsets and clear skies for stargazing. Very quiet too. We were very happy with our stay and hope to be back. Thanks

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property over the 2022 New Year weekend. Seven adults and one dog. Great kitchen and gathering area in the main part of the house, with the living room and tv in another separate space. Hon was very responsive to questions before we arrived and a minor issue while we were there. Beautiful views from this hilltop property, nice neighborhood walking (with some hills). We would recommend and visit again.
