Was the best house we could book and really communicative with any questions there is really love that would recommend if you’re trying to find a good house in the Castro Valley area!

If you're in need of a place in Alameda, then you can't go wrong here. Wonderful home in a peaceful and convenient neighborhood. The house is beautiful and well-equipped. The host is responsive .

My niece and I stayed here and had a lovely night. Hosts were gracious and helpful with recommendations. Beautiful view and gardens.

I enjoyed my stay -- the owner was communicative and flexible and it is clear they have thought of all the little things that folks might want for their stay. This spot is especially good for folks who need to work on the road. I particularly enjoyed having the extra monitor. This is an older house and comes with the charms of an older house, which I prefer over a chain hotel any day.

I think it is a great place to stay in the area. I have tried several local hotels and have been sadly disappointed so check it out!

We couldn't have had a better time than our 3 months in Nina's house in Alameda. It was very close to Southshore Center, on the island, and we were there a lot, mostly at Trader Joe's. We rented from Jan. into April, so we had the joy of watching the beautiful blooming of bushes in the front yard, and roses in the back. Everything in the house was so convenient. If you need lots of natural light, this house sure has it. Shuttered windows are everywhere.Nina is such a gracious host, and she replied right away if we contacted her. Out of 13 winters in east bay towns, this house was our favorite, and we fell in love with Alameda. A nice activity is driving up and down the streets in Alameda, admiring the well-maintained Craftsman and Victorian houses.The ferry in Alameda will take you across to Embarcadero in SF.

Location was convenient and close to highway. The house was cleaned and well-maintained. The place has high quality furniture and kitchen supply. The fireplace was great to use at night. Also the small private yard, My grandson enjoyed playing basketball. The home was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend this property.
