Surry house rentals

Superb quiet location in an adorable cottage. It was clean, the owners were very responsive and had the most detailed description book of everything from what to find where in the cottage to areas of interest. Highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing time and the owner was extremely accommodating as our arrival was delayed by a couple days. The cabin was incredibly clean and you can tell it is well cared for. The property is tucked away along the shore and our daughter had a great time hunting for sea shells. She kept saying “I don’t want to leave my cabin in the woods”.. We all wish we could have stayed longer! We hope to come back next year!

Nancy was the kindest, most gracious host. She went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful experience and gave us great tips in navigating the surrounding areas. Her home was so cozy and we loved the history of the house. The location was great. Thank you so much, Nancy!

My husband and loved Idle Hour II! The location was perfect, the views are exceptional and it is a very cozy cottage with everything we needed. Perfect area for exploring nearby Bar Harbor and Acadia. And having Ellsworth and Blue Hill both just 10 minutes away for grocery items was super convenient. We had a fantastic stay here! The place is beautiful and exactly as pictured. It is clear that it was very thoughtfully put together for guests and we really appreciated all of the little touches.

This house was exactly as described, so well-equipped and organized. The game room downstairs was a big hit with the teens. The kitchen may be the best equipped kitchen we've ever stayed in for a rental. The location was also handy. We hiked near Blue Hill several days and found some lovely hikes that were some of our favorites. Proximity to Acadia is perfectly fine with a 35-40 min drive.
