Great stay. Basketball hoop was awesome!

The Getaway was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us to be all together and plenty of space for "alone" time too! Loved the large dining room. The outdoor space was enjoyed by all of us, mostly by the dock for fishing and the fire pit for relaxation

Overall it was a good experience. Very cute and it has a ton of beds available for a big family! I would come back again.

Beautiful, clean, exceptionally well stocked cabin. Beautiful lakeshore and views. This place is above all quiet and immersed in natural beauty. This cabin was built with respect for the lake and others on the lake. If you are looking for a place to party or participate in loud outdoor sports, please don’t stay here. It needs to be treated respectfully.

We had a great time at this cabin on Round Lake in Itasca county! The kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor space were very well stocked, and there are two convenience stores about 10 minutes north or south that had essentials and more. We got a few more gallons of drinking water for the 4 of us as the well water was highly mineralized and turned yellow after sitting out, but the hosts also provided water. The lake is beautiful - very calm and crystal clear! We also saw and heard many loons, including one doing the “water dance” and a couple teaching their juvenile how to fish just off the dock! We were impressed with how quiet the neighbors all were even on a weekend in the late summer. There’s AC but we didn’t need it as the cabin is well-shaded and the lake was perfect for cooling off. We would happily stay again!

We are the lucky ones to be the very first people to stay at this incredible place! State of the art EVERYTHING! Simply stated elegant furnishings, comfortable beds, state of the art appliances, light fixtures, ceiling fans and wonderful bathroom and shower. Other special touches included a personal care basket to purchase supplies on an honor system, complimentary water, flashlights, first aid kits and a gift of a s’mores kit which we enjoyed over the very nice fire pit. We will return to this great place!
