Delaware County house rentals

Ended up having to cut our stay short due to power outage due to a storm, but this is such a great spot. We hope to come back again in the future. Clean, cozy, super comfortable bed, and overall one of the best cottage rentals I've ever found. Highly recommend. Plus the care that the host as put in to minimize discomfort in the event of a power outage is really appreciated!

Uncle Joe and Rosie made us feel so comfortable and welcomed from the very first message until the very last minute of our stay. Uncle Joe was always ready to come out and meet us within minutes to address anything we needed. He was very attentive, he stopped by to check the pool and bring us some baked goods ! It was a true pleasure meeting such kind and thoughtful folks like them. We felt very comfortable considering we had never been there before . We went out to explore the town and saw local vendors on Saturday and supermarket Tops was very convenient . Uncle Joe encourage us to visit a near by farmers market and left us a $25 credit which we definitely used for goodies. The cottage its very nice , we cooked , we grilled all while enjoying the beautiful scenic view. We relaxed by the pool deck everyday and ended with an evening bonfire by the pond then movies in the cozy living room area. Definitely the city detox we needed.

I definitely would gladly stay here again. Definitely perfect for anyone wanting to destress and get away from life and technology. No service without the wifi so absolutely amazing.

This is a wonderful property. Clean, wonderful host, perfectly set right on the river. There are also so many conveniences included.

The location and quality of the house were outstanding. The first floor contains a full kitchen, full dining room, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. While there are two lovely bedrooms upstairs, the absence of an upstairs bathroom limits their usefulness for some people like me – 75 years old and need to go to the bathroom once or twice during the night. The stairway from the first of the second floor is difficult to negotiate and in my opinion would be hazardous if someone like me were to need to go downstairs to the bathroom during the night. I stayed alone and found the house extremely comfortable and almost palatial. The price was in line with one-bedroom cabins (that typically are substantially smaller and less well appointed), so I found the deal quite fair even though I did not use the upstairs. Just don't put old people upstairs and you will be in paradise.

First, everything about the cabin met our expectations. It was clean, smelled delicious and equipped with everything we needed. We used the oven to cook pizza, toaster, coffee maker and all worked perfectly. The only thing that I would say is if you are planning to go into Cooperstown - it is quite a drive - especially at night. The roads are windy and there are zero street lights. We traveled for a tournament and it was about 30-40 minutes each way from the fields and any restaurants. So be prepared. Other than that, cabin is pure perfection. If I had known there was a propane grill I would have brought food up to BBQ. The loft bed was way more comfortable than main bedroom. The bed in the main definitely needs to be replaced. Still 5 stars IMO because there was an alternate room for us to sleep in. Dont hesitate on this one. Book today.
