Dare County house rentals

My two sisters and I just spent a week at Sea Breeze Cottage, and we had the most wonderful time. I've been disappointed in the past with house rentals that were NOT at all as advertised (dirty, non-functioning appliances, etc.), but we couldn't have been more pleased when we arrived. We had a couple of VERY minor issues, but our hosts, Debbie and Bill, responded immediately to us and we were able to quickly resolve the issues. We would love to go back again because we had such a perfect time. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Sea Breeze Cottage.

Our 2nd time staying here and it’s the perfect beach cottage. The exterior keeps the original OBX beach charm and inside is beautifully decorated with modern upgrades. The porch very comfortable and clean. Pictures are accurate.

Jim and family were delightful hosts. The property was spotless. Highly highly highly recommend!

Nice little place close to everything yet quiet and private. Beautiful sunsets over the water. Host gave easy-to-follow instructions. Warm shower! Appreciated the dinner recommendations and thoughtful extras. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay at Sugar Shack! I appreciate Joyce checking in to see if we needed anything and gave restaurant recommendations. The house was spotless and loved the labels making finding items in the kitchen a breeze! Appreciated all the basic essentials provided such as coffee pods, sugar packets, spices, shampoo, makeup remover, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap! The townhouse was comfortable and cozy, a contrast of your typical realtor managed homes! The view and sound of the ocean was spectacular! It was easy getting to the beach with the wooden board walk so close to the townhouse! Loved the town of Duck! Many new restaurants and shops since our last visit 20+ years ago! The wide lighted walking/bike paths were great! I highly recommend Sugar Shack if you’re looking for a couples retreat or for a family beach trip!

The location was awesome the house was nice but there was quite a bit of dog hair on the couches and the carpet,but still we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay at the Seaspray cottage. Mr Vallino really made us feel at home. We will rebook with him this summer.

This cottage is adorable and the view of the ocean from the house is relaxing and good for the soul. You can hear the surf with the windows closed, in your bed. If watching the shore birds, dolphins, ocean and cloud patterns is a big part of why you seek the beach and you do not have a huge group needing more space, Lemonade Cottage is a great choice. The deck is relatively new and surrounds the house so there is always a place to relax out of the elements. It was a perfect week, just as anticipated. Thank you Kim and Mark for your hospitality and attention to detail.
