We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience at the Artist Cottage! It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Patti had everything available that you would want & then more than you even expected. We felt so welcomed upon entering. The surroundings were so beautiful, we didn't want to leave! The area is charming and close to many things. We would definitely stay here again! Patti even had a lovely souvenir for us to take home that we will cherish. The best experience!

Very impressed with this property and vacation stay. The home was clean, fully equipped and ready to provide endless entertainment and relaxation. I have been thinking of how to review this place since we opened the door the first day. I was so in love that I found myself wanting to stay in rather than hit the beach lol. Honestly though the place is beautiful, spacious, clean, & comfortable! We loved the short walk to nice local shops, fresh seafood, ice cream & playgrounds all with amazing locals! Everyone is so nice and it’s very safe and relaxing. Ten minutes from surf city. We just loved it so much. Nothing but good things to say!!! Our son who is four cried when we left and I felt his pain!! Haha. Would definitely stay again. Grateful for such a rental!! Thanks for hosting a great place for our family vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cute bungalow is located close to the beach. The only downfall was the and in the kitchen. It's adorably decorated. We enjoyed a sunset cruise, boat trip to lea island, shelling and good eating.

Have been renting houses and condos for vacations for the past 20 years. This one really stands out as a beautiful property that is in an excellent location between the inlet beaches and the ocean beaches. We took daily walks around the point which average about 30 minutes total. Since it is on the point there is very little traffic on the street. The house comes completely stocked with almost everything the average family could need. Kitchen was well supplied, linens were provided, numerous beach items were available and an excellent gas grill really rounded it out. No negative surprises on this rental which is always nice. House was very clean.

We spent Thanksgiving at this adorable property. We loved the old oaks that surrounded the property. I even put up my hammock and enjoyed the fresh air. It was a quick walk to the beach. The owner was very responsive.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights over a holiday weekend. We had originally planned to stay 5 nights, but a passing hurricane delayed our trip by a day. Brenda proactively communicated and proposed plan B and she refunded the night we missed. We were able to checkin a day later then planned and everything was perfect and as stated on VRBO. Great communication, great location close to beach, comfortable places to relax both on outdoor deck and in both levels of the house. Plenty of extra supplies provided that you don’t normally find in a rental. We loved our stay and will return.
