Sylva house rentals

We all enjoyed our stay and the location was great. We walked to the coffee shop and the restaurants, the playground and the old Jackson County courthouse (to walk all 105 steps!). We even strolled through the local Farmer's Market on Saturday morning and enjoyed that as well. Home is as pictured and was clean and comfortable. We would recommend it!

We loved this cabin! Such a quiet, serene location by the creek. Inside is so nice, clean and updated. You will not be disappointed!

A beautifully rustic cabin, a large porch with rocking chairs, a fabulous view of the mountains, rope lighting on the porch at night, a firepit with a supply of wood, a grill and a picnic table. A large number of TV channels and DVDs, an electric fireplace with many choices for flame colors, a Keurig coffee maker plus a regular coffee maker, a microwave, an air fryer, a good sized stove, even a large supply of popcorn for popping in the refrigerator/freezer, and all the dishes, utensils, and spices you might need. Comfortable beds and AC or heat as needed. All in all a wonderful place to stay! We suggest you make a reservation. You won't be disappointed. Mark & Esther

The only thing that could have made our stay better was if it were longer! The cabin was even better than advertised, secluded, quiet and very homey. Michelle was outstanding from the start, and squeezed in the third leg of our honeymoon tour on relatively short notice. Everything you could think of was provided, and if you bought enough groceries you would never even need to leave the cabin (we did anyways though, and the local shops and restaurants were delightful). This was the most adorable little cabin. Everything fit our needs so nicely. This was a short hiking trip before heading over to family for the Thanksgiving holiday, and the cabin had everything we needed for the few days we were visiting. The place is not exactly isolated but it absolutely felt like it was. It was so quiet and peaceful, and though you can see the highway from the deck, it wasn't loud. There's a great view of the surrounding mountains, and the private drive was awesome. We always love staying up in the mountains and this was perfect. I felt there were two tiny design flaws in the cabin, both of which could be easily fixed. There's a shelf above the sink in the bathroom that really hindered the sink's use. Not a huge deal but quite annoying, lol. I feel it would have been better suited over the toilet or even to the side of the sink rather than directly above it. The second is the wall separating the living room and bedroom isn't a complete wall to the ceiling, and as such, the tv noise is very loud in the bedroom. Again more of an annoyance than a negative towards the cabin -- neither is a negative towards the overall stay. We enjoyed this stay, and if we ever find ourselves in this area again, we'd definitely look here first.

The good: Great location. Clean and comfortable. Love the mid century modern accents! Nice layout. Nice view from the deck. Short walk downtown down the hill. The bad: The walk back is up a hill. But wirth the view!

The house is absolutely beautiful! Every convenience of home was available. The fire pit area and outdoor deck are great for outside meals and fun. The house is about 30 minutes from so many activities. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The house was clean, very modern, and beautifully decorated. I would stay here again and I absolutely recommend this house to other travelers!!!!!
